This is second time staying here! The first under a different owner. There has been a vast improvement in the accommodations! Was a very pleasant and relaxing stay. All amenities were excellent! The property manager was very responsive to our needs. Excellent communications. We will be staying more often!

The view was spectacular! The cabin was comfortable and super clean. We enjoyed the basement with the hot tub, fire table, card table and pool table. Lots of fun! Mattresses were a bit firm for our liking, but a minor drawback really!

The cabin was as advertised and very nice. We struggled with our late arrival - the solar lights on driveway were out by then and the porch light was on motion and did not stay on long enough. Couldn't get the fireplace to light - could not find a remote and the switch on wall did not seem to work. We did not see the gas fire table - maybe we were looking right at it. We enjoyed the 2 kittens that were hanging around. View was nice as well as proximity to the town of Ellijay. Thanks!

Beautiful clean cabin with gorgeous views! Great communication with Host Susan- she was very thoughtful & attentive. Our family had an awesome time in this cabin and in the area celebrating my birthday. We would definitely return! Thanks so much!

Not for the faint of heart, the road up is mostly one single lane at the top. Great amenities hot tub, pool table, poker table. Beautiful mountain range views. A cooks kitchen, plenty of pots, pans, dishes, every gadget one would need. We enjoyed our time here. Plenty of events and things to do in the area.

10 degrees cooler

The property is very clean. It had all the amenities needed. My only concern is the square handrail to the the upstairs bedroom. We are a little immobile so we have to use the handrail. It was difficult to grip. But wait until you see the view! Magnificent

Nice place

The cabin was perfect for us, 4 adults. However it was clean on the surface but lots of cobwebs and accumulated dust under the beds. My brother in law has asthma and he had to take a breathing treatment every day. I found a dirty sock under our bed and there was pet hair also there. The hot tub was great and the kitchen well equipped with cookwear, etc., but only one kitchen towel. We did enjoy the stay but it just needs a deep cleaning in my opinion. We have stayed at several VRBO locations and this one was just a little bit not up to the standards of the others we have stayed in.

Beautiful View

We had a relaxing stay, the cabin has nice appliances and we enjoyed the hot tub and blackjack table. If you are not used to driving in the mountains we recommend to only drive on the road to the cabin in daylight! The driveway is steep but thankfully it is short and once we got the hang of it then had no problem with it. We couldn't use the grill because it was very dirty. You may want to bring your own towels for the hot tub.

Wedding Anniversary in the Mountains

I rate this cabin a B. Pros:Outstanding view Fair priceHot tub very niceLots of wildlifeGas fireplaces cozy & easyCons:Getting to the cabin was quite confusing despite our best efforts to be prepared. There are 2 different gates for Gate 2. Go to the second right upon entering the community, not the first right, otherwise you'll drive all over the mountain.Cabin needs some repairs & upkeep. Dishwasher is not securely installed, held in loosely by a piece of wood shoved between the top and the counter. Main trash can is broken, both the pedal to open & the lid itself. Several exposed nails on the stairs leading up to the master; stubbed my bare feet. Shower curtain upstairs is excessively long & in the way when showering. Fireplace instructions were completely incorrect. There were absolutely no spices in the kitchen. In other rentals, there have been various simple spices, usually left by previous guests. It’s important to note that the photos in the listing are a bit misleading, making things seem MUCH larger than in reality and hiding flaws. For instance, the lower level bathroom has a very odd design with toilet and shower on same pedestal and w/o divider; pool table is smaller than shown; upstairs bathroom is very tiny and cramped.Mouse droppings on clean towels. Beds and pillows were not comfy. No telescope on porch. Multiple dishes pulled from cabinets were dirty. Musty smell on lower level. Traces of dog hair in beds, hair tumbleweeds on floor. Dusty.

Best girls weekend ever

I invited my mom for a girls weekend. Blue Ridge is halfway between where we each live. The cabin could not have been better!! Cozy, well equipped, highly recommend!

Unsurpassed View

My husband and I spent Thanksgiving with our adult children at the Bear Point cabin. We chose the cabin for the view and that was the best part of our stay. It is beyond amazing! The cabin kitchen was well appointed. The basement is so fun and updated. There were five of us and comfortable seating for evening was a little challenging, but having the fireplace and ambiance made up for it. The cabin itself could use a little TLC, but we had a great time and created some lifelong memories!

Mountain Getaway

The cabin was wonderful, everything we needed to get away from everything for a few days! We never even left the cabin it was so nice! We enjoyed the jacuzzi, drinking our morning coffee on the balcony, sitting by the fireplaces together, playing pool, playing board games, cooking, and simply relaxing and enjoying the beautiful view.

Birthday trip

The cabin was in a great location, pretty view, great amenities. Hot tub, board games, cool dealers table for cards, and pool table. The kitchen was well equipped. We had a great time!

Lovely view!

We were in the mountains for a quick 2-night stay and this cabin was terrific and the view was really what we loved most. The only down side was that the main bedroom had a very, very musty smell when we arrived. We opened windows, though, and were able to get it to *mostly* dissipate. The cabin was very clean, well-appointed, and we had a lovely weekend.

Great views and wildlife.

We enjoyed the location and the views. Very quiet. Lots to do close by. We often stay in the general area and really liked this location. The only downside we had was the listing showed a pool as an amenity and once there, we found that was not the case. We called the property management company and they were very responsive and apologetic for the issue.
