'Great room, staff helpful, great location!'

'Great location, very clean, friendly staff and excellent food, especially The Blend for breakfast and coffee!'

'I have stayed at this hotel a few times now. It seems to be getting better. the restaurant was a bit better. But, what was really noticeable was the staff here is extremely good! They went out of there way to be of service on several occasions. Also, a hit tip to valet, I had a special car and they new what to do, which lessens my anxiety! Good job Lido. BTW, I also stayed at the BH hotel on this trip as well, so the Lido did well!'

'The street noise was very loud, and there were ants in the room. It is an expensive room for bad sleep and ants crawling on your toothbrush!'

'Friendly reception, roomy rooms good beds but slightly limited breakfast options and a shower nozzle on shoulder height for a guy of 6’4”.'

'Staff was not very professional over the phone. They did not pick up when I called the property and would frequently answer with “what” something rude. Upon arrival they stated my room number out loud with other guests in the lobby which made me feel unsafe. I was also given the code for the first room I was told and then was told “actually it doesn’t work” and was given a fob to a completely different room instead. A couple of the pillows had different strands of hair on them which I felt was...

'Great for family, but the bed was not comfortable for my liking.'

'Anderson is such a gracious host! My wife and I look forward to our next stay at The Tides in Laguna Beach.'

'We had a king with patio side sea view. Room was spacious. Linens were great. Lots of extra touches in the honor bar. Very comfortable. Pool was nice and fire pit in the evening was cozy. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Cookies in the evening and coffee in the morning in the reception. Basic but extremely comfortable and for the price very reasonable. We will definitely stay again.'

'The room was great, clean, good bed, recently redone. Staff were helpful. The hotel must be under new management, as the outside looks a little rough but the room itself was great. We had an extended stay, good base for lots of activities.'
