'The lodge is beautiful in very peaceful area, it was very clean with everything we needed. We used it mainly for a base as we were traveling so only really slept there. The lodge is situated between 2 other properties and would benefit ( I’m my opinion) with blinds on all lower windows. The bed is very comfortable but a bit on the narrow side. 'Lovely stay, very well equipped kitchen, comfortable & very clean. Lovely welcome pack. Beds were really warm & comfy. The balcony was wonderful, watched the sunrise & the surfers every morning with a cup of tea. Didn’t want to leave had such a peaceful time. Look forward to going back. '

'Property was as described and as remembered (it was my granny’s old cottage!) . The welcome pack of goodies was a nice surprise. The cottage was very clean and nicely decorated with a cozy homely feel. I especially loved the fluffy white towels provided! I was put in touch with Debbie after I booked and she was great at communicating before,during and after the stay. I booked through Hotels.com but it’s a Sykes cottage and due to this Sykes wouldn’t let me amend any details through their app...

'It was really special to experience a fisherman’s cottage in a genuine fishing village. Could not have been better than in the home of Cullen Skink. As you would imagine it’s very compact and very homely. It was lovely to listen to the ocean at night and see all the bird life. You aren’t very far from the ocean even if you’re not in the front row. It’s clean, warm and comfortable. Could do with a cheese grater.'
