Herbergen in El Chaltén

'We had no electricity from 9pm to 7am. The keys are old metal keys that you need to enter blindly into a whole, we kept earing people swearing while turning their keys 17time before their doors open. Its so incredibly noisy. The bed was comfy and the shower hot, theres easy parking too. But for the noise id recommend something else if you need to sleep early/well pre-hiking.'

'Vriendelijk personeel, ruime kamer, goed bed, lekker ontbijt. WiFi enkel in de openbare ruimte, geen goede gordijnen (één raam zelfs geen gordijn) dus licht om 5u30.'

'We stayed in one of their chalets. The breakfast was provided every morning so you could eat in the room and not rush to a buffet. The front desk staff was incredible, super helpful and would advice on hikes and weather condition. I also made use of their laundry service which was great and cheap for the amount of clothes I dropped off! The restaurants in the area are good and the hotel is super close to all major hike routes. Would go again and can‘t recommend enough! ✨'

'Breakfast was good. You could ask for all kind of eegs and if what a double expresso, you got it. The staff was super friendly, securing you had a wonderfull stay. And the dinner was amazing good and with a customer focussesd served. But i woud like to thank the whole staff for our wonderfull stay. If we return to El Chalten we return to this hotel.'

'Comfortable, well-maintained apartment and facilities throughout our nine day visit. Great staff with kind and prompt response to our questions and inquiries. Yoga room an added feature, plus proximity to center of town and trails. '

'The location was great and the vibe was mountain chic, with comfy common areas and even heated floors in our room. We were only there for one night, so can’t really say much more. It’s a very tourist/trekker friendly town, so prices are higher and this hostel followed suit. For a short stay, it was lovely but pricey.'

'This lodge embodies the el Chalten vibe - unpretentious, friendly, easy to work with and helpful. Santiago and his staff had spot on suggestions on everything from the best hiking routes, weather forecasts and places for dinner and drinks.'

'Perfect hotel om de alom bekende hike te doen, het hotel heeft een service waarbij er een bus je brengt naar een dropoff punt zodat je gelijk meerdere highlights kan zien.'

'Had a wonderful stay! The staff were super friendly and incredibly helpful—they even accommodated changes to my booking despite it being non-refundable, which I really appreciated. The room was spotless and comfortable. Breakfast was good, with plenty of options, and the coffee was excellent (very strong—just how I like it!). The only minor issue was that the bathtub drained quite slowly, but it wasn’t a big deal for me. Overall, great value and service—I’d definitely stay here again!'
