Track to the wind farm What used to be a farm track from Upper Edinbane has been rebuilt and extended and now forms a light vehicle access road to the new Edinbane wind farm. The water on the left is Loch Greshornish.

The pod is very nice, clean and has a lovely view. Very near to Portree and all the restaurants, shops, etc. A perfect location to start exploring the island from. Breakfast is great (a cute tray with yoghurt, croissant, fruits for every table and on top of that you can order warm food from the menu) ...

I love this hotel so much. Location wise it was perfect. Our room was more than wonderful. New, clean, spacious, I would recommend it to everyone and I am a very picky person and a neat freak. The Skeabost Bridge area has many hidden spots, you can park your car at the Skeabost House Hotel, have a coffee and scone there and then discover one of them. My favourite spot and fourth place on my 5 favourite hidden places list is the Old Skeabost Pier. This place has some of the most amazing sunsets in the area, and it's also one of the rare locations where you can capture the Northern lights.
