« This trip was a surprise 40th birthday trip for my fiance. The house is absolutely beautiful! The wood stove inside is super cozy, the hammock swings outside are an amazing place to relax and read. If you want to unplug from the world and relax and recharge, the lazy bear is the place to go. The host was amazing at answering all our questions. We can't wait to come back. »

« It was a rustic cabin, it had power, microwave, a good size fridge. Easy to get to, could park right out front. Had use of our own port-a-potty. Walking distance to the creek. Kids loved playing it in. Dog friendly. Owner was very friendly. We happen to come during out of normal hot temps… but at night still very comfortable. WiFi is only at the main house and had bring being our own bedding, that was unclear on this site… but on the main website it’s much more clear. Thanks again! If I ever...

« I absolutely loved this place. The house itself is perfect size, hot tub was great. You are far enough out so you feel secluded but close enough to town to feel like you are not in the middle of nowhere. Close fishing and hiking spots. The owners were absolutely amazing. The only minor hiccup was corrected almost instantly. I willbe coming back hare. »

« Booked our cabin for an early Mother's Day getaway. The property is fantastic, with just the right amount of seclusion and wonderful rustic charm. We spent our Saturday climbing the Via Ferrata and up to the Seneca Rocks overlook, coming back to the hot tub was a great way to end the day! Highly recommend Spruce Mountain cabins and we'll definitely book again! »

« Had a great time with family. We had all that we needed. The cabin was clean, the deck and dog area was spacious, the fire pit was fun for making s’mores. Too hot for the hot tub but was private and nice. Having the two separate cabins gave all some privacy at night to unwind from the day. »

« Absolutely Great stay. The host was outstanding and responded to us very quickly with all our questions. The history and the view are outstanding. We went fishing and walked on the Forge all the way across right at our front door. One of the best places I ever stayed. Must visit Downtown Shepherdtown and Hapers Ferry. Sooo much history . Also must eat at Rock Hill Creamery absolutely the best ice cream Ive ever had. »
