« The property exceeded our expectations! Location was perfect. Quick walk to the grocery store, Charlie’s Seafood Market and Gather, a great breakfast restaurant. We spent a lot of time at the lake, which is almost right across the street. The playground is great and we didn’t realize there are lifeguards, and paddle boards, kayaks and life jackets for free use. « This is a room in a lovely old farmhouse. I thought the description could have been more detailed: I wasn't quite sure what to expect. The room is on the second floor; the bathroom is private but down a short hallway. The property is in the country and very quiet. Restaurants and stores are in Ellsworth, and easy 20-25 minute drive. Hosts are lovely and not intrusive. »

« This is a wonderful (old) house with lots of space. The bedrooms are nicely separate, making it perfect for any group of people that would like some level of privacy. The outdoor fire pit is especially nice. It is 25-30 minute distance from Acadia and Bar Harbor, which we did not find an obstacle. It has a large dinging room table perfect for dinner and games. The kitchen is well furnished. Really perfect for a family visit to Acadia. »
