Blokhutten in Eagle Island

'The check-in person was great, it was midnight before we got there and he got us checked in right away. The room was great.'

'Great stat'

'This hotel was great! The room was not super spacious but had everything we needed. Very clean & comfortable. The staff was very friendly. Breakfast was nice too.'

'Just came off a 5 night trip where we stayed in 3 different Homewood Suites properties in different cities and this one was the best. However, it still had its issues. I was given a studio suite when I payed for and booked a true suite with a separate bedroom. They then sent me to THREE (3) different rooms and it was still a studio suite every time. On the final try, they finally got me into a one bedroom suite. Mind you I was dragging my toddler, cat, and luggage with me every time. They tried...

'El hotel tiene una fantástica ubicación, es hermoso, el personal es atento, todo excelente. La única razón por la que no le pongo todas las estrellas es porque debido a que era Halloween el hotel estaba súper lleno y no limpiaron la habitación. Hablé con una amable empleada que me pidió mil excusas y me explicó la situación. La gerencia debió tomar prevenciones al respecto, no se puede cortar gastos en esos aspectos.'

'Super clean property, great rooms and way friendly staff, recommended !'

'The first time that I stayed at this hotel last year, everything was excellent. This time when I stayed for most of our stay, the water in the bathroom was not even hot. It was barely lukewarm. I told the staff member about the water not being hot, and she told me that maintenance left at twelve. Noon, on a saturday of all days. I don't know if I will use this hotel again. Cause no one likes to take a cold shower when it is cool outside.'

'Room was clean and staff was amazing - the breakfast was ok but nothing to write home about!! The elevator was out when we checked out so had carry all the luggage down several floors'

'Everyone was very nice and friendly. The breakfast was good; however, could have been better if there were pastries and actual scrambled eggs.'

'Would prefer indoor pool'

'The place was extremely clean and well kept. The staff were pleasant, friendly and helpful. Cookies were delicious upon check in! Beds were comfortable and shower was very nice. Location is great with many walkable restaurants and shops. A Harris Teeter directly across the parking lot! Breakfast food was very good. I enjoyed the homemade oatmeal and the mini egg omelets. The coffee was not very good and the warm water to make tea was lukewarm. There was no decaf tea option. I would definitely...

'The room was spacious and had plenty of storage, including a coat and hat rack. The refrigerator was clean, and the heating and AC worked well. My only complaints were the lack of a coffee maker and microwave in the room, requiring trips to the breakfast area. The ice machine was also located there, and I had to request an ice bucket from the front desk. Other than those inconveniences, everything else was fine. The staff was neither especially helpful nor unpleasant. They handled check-in and...
