'Well… My expectations were absolutely blown away during this stay. I was visiting a friend for a couple of days in Firenze and wanted a central location that made it easy to explore on foot. Traveling with just a carry-on and backpack, I was able to walk from Santa Maria Novella Station to the B&B in about 10 minutes (super convenient). Andrea, who works as a host for the property was in constant communication with me from the moment I arrived at the station until I reached just outside Piazza...

'Amazing property, we stayed in the one bedroom apartment which had a full living room, kitchen, bedroom with a ton of closet space and large bathroom. The staff were extremely friendly and knew us by name right away. It was super convenient to walk to everything being centrally located. '

'The hotel suite was stunning. Completely exceeded our expectations. Only issue was we were led to believe there was a rooftop lounge and there was not. The location was perfect for shopping, sites, nightlife & dining. There are zero amenities, no room service, no morning coffee…but I’d still stay here again and again. '

The receptionist/general manager went above and beyond to ensure we had a nice stay, walked us through the amenities of the room, and even coordinated a taxi for the following morning. The room was a lot bigger than we expected, the bed was comfortable, and they even provided a couple treats for us in the room. The location was very close to all of the attractions, especially the duomo (5-7 min walk). Highly, highly recommend! '

'This is one of the best locations where we slept in Florence. It’s in the middle of the city, close to everything you would like to see or do. The appartement is in a small street and is a mix of old and new. Everything was perfect and the owners really think of every little thing. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this gem in this great city. '

'Excellent location, magical room, decor felt like when ‘Harry Potter meets da Vinci’, very clean, excellent breakfast with nice coffee to order. I had a question about a late check-in and communication was fast en pleasant. All in all: a hidden gem. Very recommended! '

'Lovely hotel, though we were in a room next to the lift which was surprisingly noisy. Our bathroom (which turned out to be a shower room) was beautifully fitted but unreasonably small. The terrace was fine but overhyped as it is confined with multitudes of tourists streaming past which felt far from luxurious. Considering how overwhelmingly busy the location is, a roof terrace would be preferable. The staff were wonderful and the concierge, Dario, was marvellous.'
