We asked for a vegan breakfast, and the staff, since they weren't sure what we would eat, asked what we loved and ensured we got it. 'Amazing and very cosy hotel. It only has 3 rooms but that is the charme of this hotel. In return you have a very relaxed morning with a good breakfast. They use fresh ingredients for the breakfast and they don't use sugar. The thing I liked the most (and I think that is also the nr1 reason to book here) is the amazing view over the Douro valley. 'Unser Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel war einfach traumhaft! Die Lage ist wunderschön und die Aussicht – besonders von der Terrasse – war einfach atemberaubend. Das Frühstück war sehr fein und reichhaltig, genau der richtige Start in den Tag. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die ruhige Atmosphäre, die zum Entspannen einlädt. The couple running this place are just the most sweetest people we met in Portugal so far, they are very loving, caring, helpful and they make you feel like home. 'The property is so tranquil and relaxing with beautiful views of the valley & river. The hosts Paul & Valeria made us feel so welcome. Very friendly and helpful with all our needs. With only 4 rooms currently, the place is intimate and at times all to yourself. Beautiful infinity pool, wood burning hot tub & sauna all with outstanding views.
