'Amazing and very cosy hotel. It only has 3 rooms but that is the charme of this hotel. In return you have a very relaxed morning with a good breakfast. They use fresh ingredients for the breakfast and they don't use sugar. The thing I liked the most (and I think that is also the nr1 reason to book here) is the amazing view over the Douro valley. Marco and his wife Ana are very friendly and helpful. They also offer a great full day tour in the Douro valley with amazing lunch! I would recommend...

'Un endroit magnifique. Nous avons été reçu par Lada qui nous a expliqué toutes l'histoire de la région. Nous avous pris la dégustation de vin qui était juste wowww. Nous avons aussi pris la planche de charcuteries et fromages qui était excellente et copieuse. S'il était possible de mettre 6 étoiles à cet hébergement ce ne serait même pas assez, tout était plus que parfait et que dire de la vue qui est a couper le souffle. 'Everything about this property felt special—from the stunning location and breathtaking views to the serene atmosphere, charming rooms, and outstanding amenities like the pool, hot tub, and sauna. It’s truly the most beautiful place I’ve stayed in Portugal. The owners, Paul and his wife, were incredibly welcoming, helpful, and full of local knowledge, which made the experience even more memorable. I can’t recommend this place enough—it’s the most peaceful retreat you could hope for.'

'We just LOVE this place. The area is very beautiful. The couple running this place are just the most sweetest people we met in Portugal so far, they are very loving, caring, helpful and they make you feel like home. 'La propriétaire est charmante, malgré qu' elle ne parle pas un mot d'anglais ni de français, elle se débrouille avec son téléphone et nous donne tous les renseignements nécessaires et les bons restaurants où aller. Le déjeuner est très bon, un vrai déjeuner familial. L' etat des lieux n' est pas parfait mais l' expérience humaine avec les propriétaires compassent totalement. Une vraie immersion portugaise que je referais sans hésiter. '

'Charmerende. Dejligt værelse med udsigt til poolen. Vær opmærksom på at nogen værelser har vinduer højt, så man ikke kan se ud (kælderen). Flere grupper af stole/borde udenfor, så man kunne sidde og hygge. Flinke værter. Morgenmad ok, men der manglede hele tiden noget (var der i 3 dage). I området var der gode afmærkede vandrerstier. Et stort supermarked. '

'They were great hosts. We booked the whole place for ourselves during a weekend! All the amenities needed, very clean and comfortable! Getting there by car can be a problem as a certain road is very tight! But it’s doable! Highly recommend!'

'Mooie B&B , ruime kamers, parking aan de deur Zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel Rustig gelegen. Voor uit eten moet men wel terug naar de stad , wat wel vervelend is omdat men hier in Portugal nogal laat begint te eten en men dan in donker terug de berg op moet. Zeer lekker en uitgebreid ontbijt Zeker een stop waard.'

"Mooi hotel boven in de bergen, midden in het Dauro wijngebied. Hotelier is tevens wijnproducent van hele mooie Portugese wijnen, deze kun je ook in hotel proeven en uiteraard kopen. Wij hadden een gratis upgrade naar een zeer mooie suite. Mooie badkamer, loungeruimte en goed bed en balkon. Restaurant met goede dinermogelijkheden. Uitermate vriendelijk personeel die je het zoveel mogelijk naar je zin willen maken. Alles ziet er supernetjes en schoon uit. Absolute aanrader in een mooi en rustig wijngebied. 15 minuten rijden van Lamego en 30 min. Van Pinhao."
