'The property and house are beautiful. We loved the location to everything. My issue was with the management company for the property and communication. In the king room the support beams under the bed kept sliding out and making a loud sound. Fixing it required pulling the mattress partially off and holding it up so my husband could get underneath. This was from simple movements of getting on the bed, turning over, etc. we thought the first night was a fluke (Monday), when it happened...

'The house was beautiful and very clean. We all enjoyed it. The fenced back yard was great for our dogs. The location was convenient as well. The Internet was very spotty and didn’t work consistently enough to watch TV. The cost for dogs is 50 per dog per night. The listing says a fee will be assessed, but we didn’t find out how much it was until a few days before we were arriving.'

'I gathered a mix of seven adults and six kids (age 10-16) to celebrate my son’s 50th birthday. In contrast to his business and city life he requested a cabin in the woods and on water. Sherwood checked all the boxes! Everyone loved the pier and lake activities, the evenings around the fire pit, the kids made use of all the things in the ‘Activity Hut’. I also rate the cabin interior highly…. It too encouraged a take it slow and easy mood. And we made the drive into town several times. Sigh…....
