We chose Dolby Kato because of the colours, and location in Aswan after a Luxor to Aswan cruise, not realising how special the Nubian Village was in itself. 'We had a wonderful stay at Kato Dool Wellness Resort! The staff were very kind and accommodating — they even allowed us to check out late because our flight was delayed, which we truly appreciated. The view from the top of the mountain is absolutely amazing, especially at sunrise overlooking the Nile river. Since the resort is located uphill, we had to take a tuktuk to go up and down to the village. The ride can be a bit bumpy and dusty, which some people might not enjoy, but it didn’t bother...

'This property is located on top of a small hill in Aswan. The river view from the window is amazing. It’s a new resort which has been operated for three years. The facilities are new and clean. The staff are super friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed the dinner at the pool side. It’s a pleasant memory with my patents. The only thing is that you will have to call a cab if you would like to have meals in Aswan downtown. '

'Great location and amazing room with great and helpful staff. It can be a little difficult to find the entrance door but everybody on the island is very helpful. The little ferry runs every 10mins for only 10£. Great stay. We would come back! '

'Great hospitality, we were really charmed by that. Be aware that you'll live there like a "Nubian" so there is no wifi and just a sober room. But actually in this setting it feels just right. Verry quiet out there, beautifull view, and a nice village. '
