'A very charming and remodelled village hotel with an excellent restaurant - locals and travelers alike are welcome. Chef creates new dishes depending the daily food availability - mostly local - organic and fresh. Room was very nice, clean and had a new wonderful bathroom with walk in shower. Breakfast made to order plus smaller buffet for yoghurt, juices, cereals. We would come back anytime.'

'A nice welcome on arrival and the room was very clean and warm. Complimentary tea, coffee and milk. A mini fridge in the room to keep water etc cool. The shower was good and also immaculate. Very quiet and a lovely place to stay '

'The room was very nicely presented, light and very cosy and warm. The staff were very helpful, kathy helped us out lots and assisted us with whatever we needed.
Access to the pool and various spa activities was a good addition as well.
Lovely place and well recommeded, will deffinetely stay again. '

'Hotels in the UK can be a bit old or outdated, this is a good example. Don't get me wrong, the location is nice (Gold Hill is around the corner) and it's on a roundabout so you can't really miss it.
But for nearly 200 euro, I have to say it's a bit overpriced. Yes it was high season and so on but still.
Good things are, it's clean, it has a pool.
Not so good, outdated a bit, it can get quite warm inside the room as there is no airco or fan in the room itself.
Opening a window is good idea...

'Large parking area out the back, we missed it first round but located it easily enough - slightly slow check-in but room was gorgeous! I loved reading about the history of the hotel and local town.'
