'Excellent stay'

'Fantastic place to stay within walking distance to downtown Royal Oak. Lovely courteous staff with great advice for local spots to checkout! Nice outdoor gathering spaces and great music inside at the lounge. Pick your own vinyl albums to play at the upstairs bar as well at Vinyl Lounge as well.'

'Very helpful and friendly staff. Good hotel location in Royal Oak.'

'Amenities were great, coffee was always hot and fully stocked. Housekeeper was fantastic. Rooms were a little small, but overall great hotel. Would stay again!'

'Breakfast was good. Parking was free and convenient. The room was clean. Staff pleasant and helpful. We would stay again.'

'Everything was great. I don’t really see the purpose of paying for parking though. Good stay overall'

'Erg fijne kamer. Ligt wel eindje van detroit af, dus een auto is een must. Kamers zijn ruim en alles wat je wenst is aanwezig. Koffiezetapparaat incl. '

'The Zalmans restaurant is fabulous. All staff that I met were great especially Bilal or "Bill". He fixed as best he could some bad stuff in the bathroom. He should run the place as his attention to detail is excellent. We talked about what I do with hotels and his knowledge. He asked if I would do an operational audit of the place. I said probably depending on my time. I'm coming back on Sunday night for a few days so maybe then. It's normally $25,000 but Bill was so good and convincing I'm...

'It is difficult to understand the $10/day parking fee considering the location and the condition of the lot. There were also,a few spots on the floor in the bathroom. Not much at all, but still unexpected when compared to earlier visits.'

'Everyone was helpful. Breakfast was very nice.'

'Breakfast was NOT included. The buffet was $15 and definatley not worth it. The lobby and eating area were extremely cold'

'Excellent stay overnight. Clean & quiet. Great breakfast with plenty of seating. Ice machine down the hall, mini fridge in the room. Easy access by uber to go to the nearby art district so we can keep our car safely parked in free parking lot. Bedding was very comfortable. Shower with good water pressure and included toiletries in pump bottles'

'The bathroom grout was full of mold both on the tile and the floor.'

'This is a 2.5-3 star hotel advertising itself as a 4 star. I booked a double bed room for my friend and I 3 months prior to our trip. When I arrived to the property they told me my room wasn’t ready but they pre checked me in, took a deposit from my card, and held my bags. I return after 2 hours to the staff telling me my double bed room was not available. They said they had another group to arrive and that because I didn’t pre check in that they can’t give me the room. I asked them how did I...
