Appartementen in Des Moines

'This apartment was very comfortable and the host was easy to communicate with. There were however, some things I would consider updating; the carpet in the bedrooms are in desperate need of replacement, there were not enough linens in the bathroom and kitchen, things such as the air freshener in the bathroom had been empty for a long time and the rug in the living area is curled, a definite tripping hazard. The only other hassle with this property would be the parking. Fees from parking garages...

'Quiet, easily accessible first floor unit, low key and gracious hosts, everything I needed was there. They expected very little of me, communicated quickly, and even checked in a few times during my long term stay just to make sure I was doing okay.'

'We had a great stay. The host was helpful, the loft was clean and comfortable, and the location to the skywalks and our event in downtown Des Moines perfect. '

'Very nice apartment in newer building. Walking distance to all kinds of neat locations including the state capital Trumans restaurant has great food and breakfast starting at 7am. As a Canadian staying in a strange city.. this place fit the bill. Highly recommended for the price and location. A'

Entered the building the first time because main door was propped open, but we could access the 2nd time because system not working. After messaging host for new code for backup lockbox and fob. With the help of gentleman who was also locked out, we got access to building after 15 minutes. Turns out the fob on kitchen counter would have given us access, but I...

'We were not very pleased with our stay. This was our first VRBO experience, and unfortunately, it did not meet our expectations. The bathroom cleanliness was disappointing. The shower curtain had significant orange staining along the bottom, and the shower tiles also appeared to have orange mildew. The bedding was very minimal, consisting of a sheet, a pillow, and a thin blanket, which was not very comfortable. In the main bedroom, the bed was pressed directly against a large vent, which made the...

'When in town for event at The Civic Center, it was completely convenient. Comfortable and we saved money by being able to prepare some meals in the condo. Nice view of downtown, skywalk access was appreciated because it was raining. Great communications, fair price, clean and cozy. We will be back.'
