B&B in Dedham Vale

'We had a great time at Rectory Manor, a lovely old georgian country house set in mature garden of trees and lawn with a swimming pool and tennis court if you want some exercise. Our room (the Hudson) was furnished in the country house style and was supremely comfortable. The only downside was the bathroom was a bit small and slightly dated. The bath was too small to properly soak. On the plus side we had an unexpected balcony that caught the morning sun whilst giving beautiful country views...

'Fabulous traditional country hotel with excellent accommodation and top notch food options. Very convenient if you're intending to walk to Flatford Mill where the Haywain was painted - it's a 45 minute walk alongside the river. Staff were very friendly and helpful and even managed to find me the right sized Alan key to unscrew my camera's battery compartment! Very Highly Recommended'

'Lovely place to stay, just outside of Sudbury town centre. Room was cosy, bed lovely and comfortable with a great shower. Owners were really friendly and helpful and the breakfast options were great and tasty. It's not walking distance to any evening food options, so you will need a car if staying there, but Sudbury is only 10 minutes away. '

'Liked that it had EV charging. Very peaceful and owners were very welcoming and friendly. Delicious scrambled eggs in the morning made by Cliff using eggs from their chickens. comfortable bed and great shower. Very clean with nice touches such as shampoo/conditioner and shower gel and chocolate wafers with the tea/coffee making facilities. excellant value '

'Absolutely beautiful home! Super friendly owners ( i got full tour of all amenities available to me). You can eat from floor (pls don’t) if you want, so clean!!! Beautiful cat on premises is added bonus :) Very luxurious room with fridge (milk and water for you), very efficient Dyson fan and super comfortable bed, kettle, tea and coffee :) Parking space is available. Did I mention a cat ? So cool :) I wish I could work again in area so i can come back:)'
