'The house was very very nice. If You are looking to stay close to a lake that you can walk in, this wouldn’t work. I’m not complaining they are in the process of remodeling but there were things that didn’t work properly. Ants didn’t bother me but they were there in the kitchen. The washer/dryer didn’t work. The price is excellent. But there needs to be repairs and an updated explanation of what is there. I would stay again but I just expected something different when I stayed recently.'

'My family of 6 stayed here for a few days at the end of December. The house is just like the pictures. We enjoyed it and definitely want to come back during the summer ( want to try the pool haha). Plenty of space for everyone! We got to enjoy the awesome hot tub during are chilly stay. Absolutely a plsce worth visiting more than once. '

'This VRBO is top notch!! The house was a perfect spot for our family to enjoy time together after summer graduation. Commencements were early so we had an entire day to BBQ and hang out with our family afterward. The deck fit us and a few friends nicely. Inside was perfectly cool, comfortable and plenty of seating if we needed to be inside. The bathrooms were well stocked with towels, and all the essentials we needed. 'This was our first time ever staying in a Vrbo and Marc made it so special! This property is so unique, peaceful, and clean, we already can’t wait to go back! I can’t say enough about how well Marc communicated with us leading up to the trip and throughout the stay. His recommendations were excellent and he even left thoughtful treats for us. He goes above and beyond with stocking the house. Marc is a class act!!! '

'We enjoyed our stay at the 1888 house while visiting for the weekend. The beds were comfortable though I did wish some of the seating options were more aware of comfort rather than just looks, but we made it work with the couch! We would totally stay here again because it was by far the most affordable and cute little spot in the area. The host was super responsive and communicated quickly when needed. '

'Beautiful, well kept home on a wooded lot. You can tell the owners really care about their property from the little details that they put into their home. The amenities are fabulous from the game room in the basement to the patio & grill area, no detail was overlooked and we wanted for nothing. When we plan our next trip to the area, we’ll definitely check to see if The Dorothy is available.'
