While I do wish the water in the pond had been higher, that’s not anything controllable, and the frog chorus while we sat in the swing and watched the birds made up for it. 'Beautiful view of the mountains, especially first thing in the morning. Close to lots of activities and things to do in Bryson City and Cherokee. The road up is a bit hairy, but that’s the price you pay for the view, and nothing our Subaru couldn’t handle. The little smores kit was a thoughtful touch. I wish we had time to have made use of the fire pit. Really enjoyed our stay. '

'We are semi local to the area, and assumed the recommendation of 4wd would just be for inclement weather. However, 4wd is absolutely recommended ANYTIME!! Great little spot!! Would stay again '

Comfortable bed and futon. Good directions provided by property manager. Electronic lock entry. Would definitely stay again!'
