'Great food and location '

'Rhonda is a fantastic host and made us feel very welcome. Rooms are charming and thoughtful decorated in a home with a long history. Plenty of street parking near house. We spent the evening on J Street and found a wonderful coffee house nearby the next morning. Great location on the edge of downtown Sacramento and a wonderful experience.'

'Our second time staying at Parkside. The ambiance is fantastic, the rooms are charming, the jacuzzi tubs and large showers are romantic, and everything fun in Sacramento is only a short distance away. We'll be returning, definitely!'

'I travel a lot and I just cannot recommend this hotel. Check in went fairly smoothly. We were in town for the March Madness tournament. Trying to order room service from the room phone took 4 attempts as the phone was old and didn’t work well. Breakfast at the Grange restaurant had terrible service as they were understaffed and unorganized. Coffee arrived without condiments or a spoon. Food order taken, but food never arrived. 'Goed parkeren veel plaatsen. Goed Amerikaans ontbijt . Wel mocht er iets van bruin brood bij .Propere kamer . Jammer dat we aan de inkomdeur lagen van blok 3 ( room 129) dit gaf veel lawaai. Maar s’nachts geen probleem '

'Excellent location and property. Highly recommend to anyone staying in the Midtown area. Very walkable to restaurants, shops, bars, and park. The property itself is wonderful and in great shape. Staff were professional and pleasant. Breakfast was simple, but perfect for a quick bite. '

'The rotation of breakfast items was fresh each morning, and coffee kept hot. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Staff was efficient and friendly. We understand this is a downtown city hotel but did notice that the immediate entrance and area around the building could use some attention. For example, the walkway from the main entrance was strewn with leaves, had some discarded items, and needed a power wash. '

'Anna from the front desk was a total sweetheart! She checked us in early and even helped with our luggage! The hotel is clean, quiet and nicely decorated. The area is nice as well, Capital Park is beautiful. The only thing we did not like was the mattress, it was not very firm and my husband moves around a lot in his sleep so I didn’t sleep very well. But we know you can’t please everyone!'

'I don’t usually write reviews but this Inn was very impressive, and the owners are the nicest people who care about their visitors. They have the cutest little dog that greets you when checking in, and the process is so smooth and seamless. The rooms were clean, and as someone who had to stay for a night, I felt extremely safe and well taken care of. '
