'I believe this site was a scam! I paid up front of course but never received check in details. The “contact host directly” info produced a Danish country code, which gave a “number not available “ recording; the email looked bogus - and there was no reply anyway. I ended up finding someone in a pub in Govilon (which is a tiny place!) who rented me a room, but of course I had to pay him. I have no reason to believe this was nothing but a scam. Stay away!'

'We did have some checking in issues - we didn’t receive a key box code and had to ring the host at midnight. We found it quite hard to reach the host in the days leading up to the booking.'

Hosts were brilliant, kept us updated until our check in time arrived, along with recommendations for some nice walks and restaurants. 'What a stunning property. A beautiful, loved home with such small intricate thoughts to make your stay stress free. Simple things like cleaning materials, hand-wash, extra towels, throws, board games and books....... I know they sound simple things, but a lot of properties miss these things out. Our host was attentive and available if we needed and he made the process so easy. It was great for our dog, with 2 parks within 100m of the property. I would highly recommend this quiet retreat if...
