« From the moment this was booked, it’s been a 5-star experience. The lodge was exactly what we needed to unwind and enjoy the breathtaking scenery, and being so dog friendly really was a bonus. The small beach area was perfect for a shallow dip in the loch, and we were spoiled with pure sunshine during our stay. It’s the first time I’ve been to Scotland and not worn my hoody! « We stayed here for two nights and felt cosy even in the storm which started the night we checked in. I was bit concerned for the heating and facilities for it being a one room lodge with what seems not the most cold resistant insulation around windows and doors. BUT I have to say that never we felt cold as heater quickly warmed up both room and bathroom, and it stayed so. We absolutely loved interior of our little room. « We stayed in The Barn for a couple of nights, a wonderful house , very comfortable, plenty of space. It was a little cold, and did take a while to heat up after we turned the heat on. One thing to note, there are no instructions on how to use the beautiful Falcon stove. Maybe a simple sign in the kitchen , with the basic instructions please, for those like us who have no experience with this type of stove. »
