'Behind the black iron door there is a lovely well equipped cottage. The best thing is that it is right in the middle of Cheadle and at the same time a quite retreat, the best of both. We are not the absolute nature lovers, but made trips tot Birmingham, Manchester and Liverpool. Close enough for a days visit. But we explored the Peak district as well. We did Buxton and Ashbourne and Leek too. We find the cottage very cosy. We didn’t miss a thing. Everything was there, including good Wifi.'

'We had a wonderful stay. The hosts were very accommodating and showed us through the house upon arrival. The location was amazing within walking distance from all the major attractions. We spent lots of time up on top floor patio that looks out over the river and the foot bridge. We will definitely be back. '

'Fantastic stay. Please dont be put off by the lack of reviews on here. Myself and 3 friends had a brilliant long weekend. The cottage is nicely decorated and very clean. Bedding and towels were included (the description for the cottage says otherwise, but they are there). A full working kitchen with all the equipment you need. The log burner was set up and ready to go to. The only thing missing was shampoo and shower gel in the bathroom, so take that with you. Everywhere else was very well...

'We have just returned from the most wonderful weekend at Cheshire Barns. The cottages are absolutely stunning and are so cosy and inviting. They have absolutely every amenity we could have wished for as a family staying with young children . The bonus of a gorgeous hot tub and tennis courts was fantastic. Location wise it’s such easy access to fantastic spots to walk and explore including Tatton park and Delamere forest. Our host was so incredibly kind too as we had to make last minute plans to...
