'Interesting location, on the former air base of McClellan. Area is well maintained and looks beautiful with the flowers. Room was ok, cleanliness could be better and the facilities are outdated. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was disappointing, scrambled eggs were disgusting, and the rest was very basic.'

'Rooms were clean and comfortable. Property was well maintained and had everthging we needed---pool, gym, in-house restaurant for breakfast and dinner with decent food and bar. About 10 minutes to Sutter Park, for ball games. About 5 min to Cal Expo Center. About 10 to downtown Sacramento and about 15 minutes to "Old Town Sacramento"---super fine and nostalgic of cowboy days. Would stay again =)'

'This was a first stay at this Fairfield in about five years. It remains a pretty good low-cost place to stay for a night or two. The breakfast isn't quite as good as we remembered it, and the $10 per day they now charge for parking was off putting. Beyond that, the biggest downside to this location are the frequent freight train horn blasts throughout the night they can nothing about but nevertheless impact the quality of sleep.'

'I would NOT recommend anyone stay here! We booked online had no idea it was in a really bad neighborhood. We didn’t even get there til 3am and had already paid otherwise o would have gone somewhere else. They actually charge a higher rate here then most reg La Quintas do and that I later figured out is to cover the cost they gave bcz they also have like a homeless voucher program going on. So you think you are getting a nice hotel and actually it is a very overpriced homeless shelter for those...

'Our room was very nice, clean & well-appointed. Our check-in was great and we especially appreciated the bellman!! Subsequent dealings with the front desk were not so great. Some staff didn’t seem interested or well-trained in customer service. The dining & bar experiences were top notch!! We were disappointed to see some of the outdoor spaces under-utilized & maintained.'

'This was a business trip layover. I have stayed here before and decide must give kudos to the amazing staff. Front desk, Julia at the bar… everyone was amazing. Internet was perfect, food and drinks accessible and I even was granted a late check out. It all felt easy. I was able to conduct my business within a space of calm. Love it here! Perfect for staycations as well.'

'I recently stayed at this hotel, and unfortunately, the cleanliness of my room was not up to par. I found hair on the toilet seat, the chair, and the countertops. It was enough that I ended up going to Dollar Tree to buy disinfectant spray and Lysol wipes so I could clean the room myself. The bathtub also wasn’t cleaned well, and the room had a noticeable cigarette smell that made the overall experience even less enjoyable. This wasn’t my first stay at this location. 'Wasn’t at all serviced well. Maids were talking and not working at all. No one cleaned the room and the front desk woman was robotic and strange. It was a weird experience except breakfast. Wouldn’t go again.'
