'Hidden Gem. Nice old authentic pub annex inn. Courtyard beer garden and several bars in different levels in different styles. Really nice rooms and very pleasant staff. 10/10 recommandations'

'Kleine dure kamer die schoon was maar gedateerd. Wel een uitstekende stille airco. Ligt wel op een groot landgoed waar een wandeling geweldig is'

'Lovely place '

'The Plough Inn is een heel leuk authentiek hotel. Echt een Engelse belevenis. Verzorgd en heerlijk ontbijt en mogelijkheid om te dineren. Op het platteland bij de Theems.'

'We really enjoyed our brief stay.Such charming staff. My only question would be,please keep fresh milk in the room fridge, for tea in the morning. We would like to come back to stay in one of the thank4 bed lodges, overlooking the lake, next time.'

'Beautiful grounds and garden. Helpful staff. Comfortable room and bed, tasty breakfast. Only complaint, the front entrance is locked a little early for a Saturday evening, took 2 calls to get the entrance opened. But would recommend.'

'Een mooie locatie in een historisch pand. Maar kamers zijn modern en comfortabel ingericht. Ruime kamer, voldoende ruimte voor bagage. Nette schone badkamer. Heerlijk a la carte ontbijt. Diner was ook heerlijk. Geen doorsnee pubfood, maar een mooie menukaart. Gezellig dorpsterras buiten. Kamer heeft geen airco, als het erg warm is kan dit een punt van aandacht zijn.'

'It was a good hotel for a reasonable price. Nice staff and helpful '

'Parking is very convenient and close to the village centre. Staff are friendly and helpful. The room is very small and not what was advertised. It had a skylight but no windows. Towel warmer didn’t work. Breakfast hours were advertised for 9-10:30. When we arrived at 10 they told us breakfast was closed, but when I pointed out their own hours listed on the card, they did make us breakfast.'

'Extremely disappointing stay and nowhere near the standard expected for a superior room. We had booked a twin room but were initially given a double. When we were eventually moved to the twin room we had actually booked, the condition of it was unacceptable. There was hair across the bathroom, stained bedding, significant dust throughout the room and heavy dirt and buildup around the extractor fan and light fittings. The coffee machine still contained water and used pods from the previous...

'Room above the inn. There was a karaoke night in the pub. Looked like a lot of locals and it was fun. Very friendly people. Music stopped somewhere between 23:00 and 23:30. No worries. Inn is located in a small quiet village. Nice to take a walk. Food in the inn was nice as well. We were the only quests but they still took the time. '

'The room was spotless beautifully furnished. We had endless tea, coffee milk and biscuits. The staff could not have been more helpful nothing was too much trouble The restaurant and bar was clean and very comfortable. The food was fabulous, well prepared. Added to all this you have a very large car park Would recommend this hotel and give it 10/10.'
