'The management company welcomed us to the property. The amenities were excellent with a private swimming pool. Written instructions for the washing machine, dishwasher and garbage disposal would have been helpful'

'Beautiful apartment with all the amenities you would hope for. Amazing gift basket of brioche, pastries, bread, crackers, jams, honey, coffee and milk. Surrounded by gorgeous pasture and olive groves. Close to Cortona and local grocery store and restaurants. Easy to drive to Arrizo, Perugia and all the beautiful villages around Umbria. Our host Carola was so wonderful and so very helpful. She went above and beyond to make sure we were well taken care of. I wish we could have stayed longer.'

'Beautiful apartment right in the centre of cortona. Lots of churches, museum and restaurants close by with interesting architecture and good food. Shops selling local linen, leather items and Italian cashmere. Wonderful place to experience Italian culture and cuisine'

'I've stayed at many different properties in Cortona. This one is more modern than I prefer but it was fantastic! My back appreciated the wonderful bed and my love of cooking appreciated the larger sized refrigerator, freezer and cooking appliances. But most of all...the view...how can I describe? At the risk of not being able to get this property because it's so good, I have to tell you the view is stunning! I love Casa Maya!'

'Fijn verblijf in het heerlijke stadje Cortona. Veel mooie leuke winkeltjes en heelijk eten en goed ijs!! Ook genoeg te wandelen en te bekijken. Een stadje met geschiedenis en kunst. Parkeren is prima te doen vooral beneden bij de kerk was altijd plek. Wel weer een stukje klimmen terug maar daar moet je gewoon even je weg in vinden. Wij hebben steeds alles eerst uitgeladen bovenaan de weg, bij de laad en losplaats bovenaan bij de stadsmuur. Zo was het goed te doen vooral met de kinderen. Het is...

'das Haus ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und es ist alles da, was man braucht. Die Lage des Hauses ist auch erwähnenswert. Absolut ruhig und mit herrlichen Aussichten. Das muss man sich allerdings erarbeiten. Die Zufahrt zum Haus ist sehr abenteuerlich und nichts für schwache Nerven.'

'Lovely farm, quiet and peaceful. A good location as a home base to explore Tuscany and Umbria by car. A few amenities in the house would have been helpful such as cleaning supplies, soap, salt, sugar, pepper, laundry detergent, so that we didn't have to buy essentials which we had to leave behind.'

Several things in the house and the surrounding are lft behind and broken.Its better to bring with you all you need in case you won't drive the car too often. The accsess takes time and needs a careful driver Communication with agency was always very prompt. 'We stayed at this villa for a month. We had our family of 9 people here for 10 days. The layout with 2 separate apartments was perfect for our group. We had great weather during our stay and so we used the pool (unheated) frequently. The kitchen has all the utensils you will need for cooking, and some spices too.
