'This was one of my favorite places and I wish we could’ve spent more time here. We were so busy doing things in the area that we didn’t allow enough time to just enjoy this house and the property around it. Not only that it was incredibly clean. Everything we needed was available to us. The beds and pillows were comfortable. Communication was exceptional with the host. The only drawback is that there is only one bathroom. 'Quiet, serene location with lots of beautiful trees and river frontage. The cabin was unique and perfectly maintained. We enjoyed watching little chipmunks and lots of birds from the spacious windows facing the river. We hope to return someday. '

'There were 5 hummingbirds that flew in 3 times a day. We had several visits by the mule deer and lizards. We heard lots of other animals. The scenery and surroundings mountains were spectacular. 'Perfect home base for a week of exploring Colorado, Utah, and New Mexico with it's centralized location to all the amazing historical ruins in the region. Quiet and out of the way enough to a relaxing sit on the porch after a long day of hiking but close enough to "town" so you can sit down for a bite to eat or stop at the grocery store. The next time we come through the area we'll be staying again. Great little cabin to rest your bones in between adventures!'

'I rented the property just to be able to attend the Horses Hounds and Mules auction in Hesperus, and it turned out to be an amazing place to stay! The house was immaculate, the porch was serene.'

'It was a great little cabin! The bed was super comfy! I love watching the horses in the pasture down below. While drinking my morning coffee. The kitchen had everything I needed, plus there was a grill just out the door! We have stayed at a lot of different places and this host the best by far with communication! I would recommend property to anyone wanting to get away to peace and quiet! '

'Perfect location for our family, hiking, fishing, and swimming!! Our friends live just 40 minutes away! Airport close! Shopping in Durango dnd Cortez perfect distance away! The farm Bistro in Cortez is amazing a must to eat, Taquillas Mexican food is the best! We loved it!! It was to hot during the day! But we didn’t stay around home much during the day!! So close to town, yet--with running water music on either side of our spacious wall tent--in another world entirely, we couldn't ask for a better vacation base.
