'This rental property had everything we needed being so close to the beach . The heated bathroom floor in the en suite bathroom was a nice addition. Gas throughout the kitchen , bbq plus a fire pit was also great . The cleanliness and organization throughout the unit also excellent ! The 4pm check in to me seems late, especially when you have to check out at 10am . I requested an early check-in twice with the property manager, but she never replied back to me . 'To all the ships ashore we landed in this amazing suite. We saw Bald Eagle go by, watched the deer in the yard and the racoon on the fench. 'The house is fairly new. Appliances are new. Kitchen is well stocked. The Bbq grill is great. The central air conditioner is fantastic! The house is located within walking distance to the ocean and downtown Campbell River. There were 7 of us. The dining table was long enough to accommodate all of us. The mattresses are quite soft. 'What a gem! Calm water, crabs everywhere, porpoises out the window. It is a classic Canadian cabin, just like in lake country, except without the mosquitoes but with salmon right outside. We managed to get there in a small open boat (our big one was out of commission) by doing a deal with nearby April Pt Marina.'

'Absolutely stunning view!! Property is well maintained the couple that run it are lovely people who clearly take pride in their home. We had an awesome stay, it was super cozy with a couch you can just fall asleep on looking at the boats on the water. My hubby and I would definitely stay here again hopefully not for work next time so we have the energy to explore the island.'

'Highly recommend Raven's Bluff-it is quiet, scenic, and Carole was super helpful. Gorgeous view of the bay and the home is very private and comfortable. My husband and I wished we could have stayed longer.'

'Home provided adequate room for 6. Would expect 6 chairs at dining table when rental provides for 6. One bedroom lacked a window covering. Two of the three beds were not particularly comfortable. Backyard was not up to the pictures posted. Would not recommend a questionable trampoline to be provided at a short term rental. While directions for operation of theatre projector was said to be provided, we could not find them. Kitchen was well stocked. Nice flat screen tv in living room....

'4 adult siblings and 2 young teenagers fit perfectly in this beautiful suite. Lots of room to lounge, cook, play games, etc. We were lucky enough to have perfect summer weather so spent most of the time on the beach. The hosts checked in often via text to ensure all was well, many thoughtful little touches that you never knew you needed but really appreciated having. Will absolutely stay there again!'

'This is one of the best properties we have stayed at. It is a lovely and efficient home with a very well-equipped kitchen in a gorgeous setting. One wants for nothing there. I think I can safely say that the owners have thought of everything. One does need a car to get around as there is much to do in the area. Powell River has some very good restaurants. 'This is an absolute beautiful spot on the river. Our 3 night stay was wonderful especially the bear watching as well as all the other birds and fish visible from your living room windows. The first day we had a mother bear and 3 cubs come down to the other side of the river to eat some salmon that were swimming in the water. The beds were very comfortable and it was really nice having a sink and toilet off of the master bedroom. This unit is on the top floor which was fine for us however...
