Great group vacation home

Plenty of space for a large group and lots of activities and games for kids! The arcade and games in the basement were a hit, and access to the beach was a breeze!

Couldn't be better

Our trip was one of our best yet because if this house. It was the perfect set up for our large family of adults and three children. We spent a lot of time at the pool and cooking dinners together. The country club amenities were a huge bonus and the convenience of location to groceries and restaurants was so wonderful. We are hoping to make this our new vacation spot! Thank you for everything!

Rating Details: I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. I was very happy with the location. The vacation rental was spotless. The property manager was very helpful. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Loved alot of things about this house - decor, location, view of the bay. My only real complaint is that the kitchen is very poorly equipped and the bathrooms could use some rugs.

Wonderful home!

Our 3 families had one of the best vacations ever in this house! It was perfect for us, and I think it had the best view in the neighborhood. The beach was a close 2 minute drive, parking wasn't too bad. We didn't use the trolley at all, felt no need. Absolutely loved taking a morning walk, and then enjoying a cup of coffee on the front deck(our favorite spot) every morning. Only negatives was that we weren't able to get into the house until 30 mins after check in, and even after the cleaning service left, it wasn't super clean. Lots of bugs, which is to be expected, but not after a cleaning. The agency was very quick to respond to my emails and to come help with any issue. Would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful location!

We loved the location of this home and everything in the Currituck Club. It was unfortunate many restaurants in Corolla were closed or had limited seating due to lack of staff. The home was a great size! We had 6 adults and 3 kids and had more than enough space. The pool and hot tub were very clean and a wonderful addition to our stay! Our only complaint was the cleanliness of the home. The bedding and bathrooms were clean but the floors felt like they had been broom swept but not vacuumed or mopped. Also, the decks were ALL covered in spider webs and really needed to be cleaned. The deck furniture was also dirty and didn’t appear to be cleaned at all.

Family Vacation

Very nice property and great neighborhood! There was a problem with the AC for the bottom 2 floors on the 1st day. I went on the app and put in a maintenance request. Someone arrived within 15 mins and it was repaired the next morning. The property was well maintained and would highly recommend it!

Relaxing Week At the Beach

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderful week, the weather was great, the location was perfect, enjoyed the wildlife (deer, turtles, birds, etc.). The pool was excellent, as well as the hot tub. Enjoyed the kitchen as we ate all of our meals in the house. IKEA all the way was fantastic.

Shooting Star is GREAT!!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Shooting Star is a lovely property. The Curituck Club is an exceptional community to be part of. There are several pools, the gym, shuttle service to the beach, and the golf course made our stay at Shooting Star one of the best vacations our family has had. The house is located in a circle which made it great for the kids to ride there bikes. There was not much traffic coming through the division. The view of the sound and the breeze off the water was the BEST! The house is very spacious and has a lot of nice features. The fire pit in the backyard was awesome! We had fun roasting hot dogs and marshmallows. The pool is small but refreshing and the hot tub was enjoyed by all. The house echoed a lot that was the only downside. It took a few days to get used to it but overall was fine. The floors neeeded to be swept more. Under the beds was very dusty. In the living room we found Cheerios and other foods scatterd on the floors, under end tables, couches, etc. That's not a reflection on the property more a reflection on cleaning crew (easily fixable). Everyone from the 10 month old baby to the 65+ old grandparents loved this house. We love our vacations to OBX and will remember Shooting Star for a very long time!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall I was happy with the vacation rental, my only two complaints were that the linens were scratchy, which was disappointing. I believe they were rented and I would suggest a higher quality choice. Also the one king bed was simply two twins mattresses in a king frame without a box spring so it was very soft and not very supportive. Other than that it was well stocked and I like that reusable containers were on hand along with large bowls for a big group.
