'Nice quiet place to stay'

'Loved the ambience of this house filled with so many period features. Even better were our hosts David and Lindy who went out of their way to obtain help for me when I fell ill during the night and required hospitalization. The following day, David drove my partner to the hospital to pick me up. A stay at The Laurels is like visiting with old friends, sitting in the living room with other guests of an evening with a glass of wine and a selection of snacks. Breakfast could not have been better....

'Chose to stay here for a birthday getaway for myself from the city. The place was great. Clean, comfortable, nice, quiet and peaceful. You can roam the property and collect some eggs from the chickens if you wish. Breakfast was provided for the first day. The owner, Elizabeth, did check in as there was a big storm, to make sure i was comfortable and warm enough, which was a nice thought. Definitely would come and stay again.'

'Super spacious, quiet and clean modern 2 bedroom unit, fully stocked, beautiful rooms with a private courtyard, comfortable beds and fluffy towels. Private foyer and entrance in a stand-alone building within the motel complex. Loved that there’s actually ample seating space in living and dining room and towel hanging spots for 6 people. The smart TV even comes with sound bar home theatre setup. Aircon/heating in each room and living room. Was expecting a fair amount of road noise as it was right...
