« The only thing lacking was a mirror in the room. Bathroom had the only mirror in the handicap room. Difficult to get dress without a full length mirror. »

« The Harpeth is a lovely property and the only hotel in the historic downtown of Franklin. The 1799 restaurant was very good. The staff was always helpful and kind and worked to overcome every issue.The hotel itself is quite nice; the balcony rooms are best. »

« Front desk lady was very nice at check in. Location was great. However the area wasnt the best. Right behind hotel is a gas station. I believe people living out of cars. There was a run down rv parked under my window. Dog barking constantly. I thought it was in hotel. Called 3 times anout it. 2nd phone call front desk man maybe a little snippy said he made rounds after first call couldnt find anything. He seemed irritated that I was complaining. « We stayed here back in November. The beds were like clouds with soft mattresses and fluffy comforters. Price was ok for 2 nights at $330. So we booked another 2 nights. We work the local flea market 4 times a year. Fast forward to April 2026 beds hard as rocks, comforters heavy and stiff, bathroom was fitted with the wrong shower curtain so taking a shower left the floor drenched, I almost fell getting out, plus they charged me $100 more than our last stay. « Breakfast was lacking. Only thing that was hot were the waffles. Cereal,yogurt,juice and coffee offered. Building is older. »

« Our room was clean and larger than expected. There were any double queen rooms left, but the king with the tocca bed worked perfectly for our family of four! Breakfast had lots of options and staff did a wonderful job of making sure everything was stocked as it was a very busy due to kids sporting event that must have been going on. Great location as well! »

« The coffee station was well stocked but not kept warm throughout the day. The renovations were not intrusive but closed the gym. The television in the room randomly shut off a few times. Not sure why. Otherwise everything was as expected. The breakfast bar was always stocked with good and fresh food. All of the staff was nothing but friendly and courteous. »

« I was so disappointed by the amount charged on top of our room charge….75$ USD + tax for 1 dog…..Never saw this charge that high….If I had known I would have not reserved there as I always paid 25$ USD plus tax. I would really appreciate if the hotel would be willing to accept to reimburse me at least for the half of the 75$ which is more than 25? I »
