'The Valley Motel in El Cajon CA is about 15 miles East from downtown San Diego. It's been around forever and the structure shows it but for the cheaper price I'm in! There is parking around back and out of sight, a gas station on the same lot and a liquor store adjacent to the motel as well as a drive through Mexican fast food restaurant across the street from where you will stay. There are so many coats of paint that you can't be certain what the main color is but, it works well for insulation...

'From the moment of check-in Josh was friendly and helpful. The property is designed to provide great spaces for gathering and hanging out and has an excellent layout for this. This is a great place to host an event. We stayed in the sun cottage. And I do wish I had realized that this cottage only had street parking. This is an area where parking can be tight. Getting to down town and up to balboa park was easy but walkable restaurants are limited. I definitely needed my vehicle. ...
