'Our stay was comfortable and felt safe. Its a small town has lots of small shops. The hotel has a nice swimming pool all to yourself and a nice private area. The hotel owner is a very nice lady, gave us a good rate to stay a second day. The room was very clean and spotless. If you descide to stay, you won’t be disappointed👍. Although alot of the small restaurants does closes early and open late is what we found out. Although we still enjoyed our stay. '

'We had a very nice spacious ground floor room with king bed and large bathroom (suite 7) in the Carriage House annex. It had a view of the main building's rear. It is a nice heritage building. Towels and shower were good. Breakfast offered freshly made hot items and home-made jam of good quality. Friendly staff. Parking in the quiet street in front of the hotel. Breakfast time between 9 and 10 am, a bit too late to our liking. The king bed was a bit too sensitive to a partner's movements in bed....

'The scenery driving to this place was beautiful! So many hill country views and deer! The property itself was very nice and clean, I wish I had more time to spend there! A perfect weekend getaway. About 20 minutes from Kerrville and on a good day about 45 to SA. Perfect location to do a little both antiquing and storefront shopping.'

'I really do not like leaving bad reviews but I want to be honest about our stay. If it was just one thing I wouldn't even mention it but for $375-$400 per night we expected A LOT more and were not impressed. The host describes the property as sleeping 6 with an additional pull out sofa that sleeps an additional 2 more; however only provides 4 plates, 4 coffee cups and 4 small bath towels. The primary bedroom with the en-suite shower does not have a door or shower curtain and the water sprayed...
