'We had a very nice spacious ground floor room with king bed and large bathroom (suite 7) in the Carriage House annex. It had a view of the main building's rear. It is a nice heritage building. Towels and shower were good. Breakfast offered freshly made hot items and home-made jam of good quality. Friendly staff. Parking in the quiet street in front of the hotel. Breakfast time between 9 and 10 am, a bit too late to our liking. The king bed was a bit too sensitive to a partner's movements in bed....

'Our stay was very comfy !! It was an amazing couples getaway ! They went above and beyond to provide everything needed for a get away in the Texas hill country ! We had a personal fire pit for the cold evening ! Inside we had a comfy bed with an amazing view outside to all of the wild life !! Roaming free they had longhorns,ducks,chcikens,and black buck deer! Some of the key things that we had inside were fridge and freezer coffee maker large kitchen sink ! And a 4 in 1 air fryer /microwave!...

'The scenery driving to this place was beautiful! So many hill country views and deer! The property itself was very nice and clean, I wish I had more time to spend there! A perfect weekend getaway. About 20 minutes from Kerrville and on a good day about 45 to SA. Perfect location to do a little both antiquing and storefront shopping.'

'My sisters and I wanted a place to stay over the holiday weekend that was still close enough to our homes that we could take care of necessary chores without driving for hours. Micky's and Vicky's place provided that retreat for us. Kitchen and laundry in house made everything easy. The ranch critters were all charming. I'm glad I took a full bag of carrots for all the furry hosts!'

'We loved the house. It is a great layout! There was cornhole to play outside and the pool table inside, we never turned on a TV! We did not spend much time there during the day, played in the Guadalupe river most of the time. We ate at High's store which was delicious and Fajita Street which was great too. I did not antique shop but others in my party did and loved it. We will be back next time the family descends on Comfort!'

'This was our first stay here and hopefully will be our place to stay whenever we visit Fredericksburg. The view was wonderful and the deer made it even better. Breakfast is furnished but bring your own milk. Also there is no TV in the cottage. Other then that we really enjoyed it.'
