'We did not have a great experience at Hampton Inn Bordentown and do not recommend it. It is a small hotel with a small parking lot which was full when we arrived. It is also very hard to access since it is next to a highway/commercial road with 18 wheeler trucks. The passing vehicles kept honking after midnight, so it was difficult to get any sleep. We intentionally kept the loud room AC on to try to drown out traffic noise. Some of the reviews are incorrect that this hotel was recently...

'Zeer vriendelijke jongeman aan de balie. Wat oubollig ingerichte kamer naast het zwembad met verschillende sproeiers die om 23:30 uur nog vrij veel lawaai maken. Er hangt een onaangename geur in de kamer.'

'Very poorly maintained facility. Reserved a non-smoking room, and it completely reeked of smoke the moment you walked in the door. Also had to endure the constant weed smell that was consuming of the entire room. There were very prominent stains on the side of the mattress cover as well as burn holes in the blanket. Breakfast was very sparse with limited choices.'

'While the place does have the bare minimum a motel should have for a stay, the rooms are filthy, the owner installed cameras at every door (which made for a lack of privacy), the sink and shower had broken valves, and the reception office was incredibly hot.'

'Decent for sleeping over one night so I won’t have to drive back home sleepy. The door to my room had gaps which allowed bugs to come in as well as the smoke smell from outside. The room was clean enough for me not to want to use the sheet that I had with me. Still better than many roadside motels. Would I stay there again, probably if it’s the only reasonable option.'

'We had a nice spacious room on the ground floor. The room itself was clean and comfortabele with a small fridge and micro wave. Unfortunately for us the walls and ceilings are very thin and the couple in the room next to us or above us had sex three times! That leaves a bad taste. There are a few restaurants in the Neighbourhood. So for one night just passing through it is a very nice low budget hotel.'

'Front desk clerk is robotic with no personality. Holiday Inn customer service said it would be $25 extra for our dog when I called. Then when we showed up, front desk clerks said it was $75. Room and property is very clean and quiet. But it will take you an hour to figure out how to get the TV to work with the remote. They have a great breakfast set up. And it’s very close to an Applebee’s restaurant. We live locally and only stayed here because our air-conditioning system went out. But for the...

'This is the second hotel on Expedia where we booked hoping to go swim and yet again the pool was closed. The shower at this location was falling apart literally and there was hair all along the walls. The air was cool and the beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was disgusting and the syrup was empty. Coffee wasn’t great either. Loud doors slamming all through the night. Wifi worked well.'
