'With high ceilings, lots of windows, two decks, and plenty of outdoor space, this cabin is a gem. Rooms are small but well-planned. It's a complete renovation that is superb. And it's the best stocked cabin I've ever stayed in. There's even a path through the woods to a nearby pond. It was quiet, peaceful, and in an area that has lots of trails on preserved land.'

'The cabin was exactly as described. The host was very hospitable, friendly, and helpful with questions about the area and things to do. Firewood was stocked, and later restocked when we ran out. The lake access was perfect. The kayak and canoe onsite was so convenient. The owls literally serenaded us to sleep. We would absolutely come back again!'

The location is VERY remote, which we frequently look for. A mid-point for exploring both Acadia/Bar Harbor and the Bold Coast - Quoddy Head, Lubec, Western Head Preserve and East Port.'

'I can not say enough about the cabin. Shasta was so easy to work with and provided all the details we needed. The cabin was perfect for our family of 4 and our 2 dogs. The property felt completely private. We enjoyed the peace and privacy but also walks along the property and also were close enough to Bar Harbor, Castine, and Schoodic. 'It’s name says it all. A perfectly sized, literal “bed room” in the middle of the woods. The fire pit had wood all ready for me to use. If you were to come in the winter, the tiny home has a wood stove to use as well.'

We enjoyed all the "home" away from home items, such as a well stocked kitchen, including dishes, pots & pans and even an assortment of spices for cooking. In other VRBO properties we always had to buy extra hand soap, paper towels, toilet paper and laundry detergent, etc. and it was great that all of these items...

'Amazing place to re-boot. The cabin is clean and very well stocked. You rarely hear anything other than the sound of nature. Kimberly was amazing in any question we had , responding immediately. Bring you your food and stay put here to relax, reboot and re-energize here. We will be back for more than 3 nights next time. Easy drive from Bangor airport. Best vrbo experience ever.'
