'Great place, would stay again!'

'Lovely location and good view from outside space. We had to phone twice in an hour to get the check in information after 3pm. The shower was blocked and very very mouldy on arrival. The blockage was fixed but remained very dirty. Their was a lack of facilities - main light not working in bedroom, bedroom and kitchen not in same apartment, no cover for duvet, only see through net curtains, only one dinner sized bowl/plate, very dirty sofa in kitchen space, stale smell throughout on arrival. '

'Es war ein wunderschöner Urlaub am Comersee. Die Unterkunft war super ausgestattet und perfekt gelegen,fast direkt am See, so dass man direkt mit Badeoutfit und Handtuch an den Strand konnte. Die riesige Terrasse lädt zum Chillen ein und liegt ruhig und abseits der Wege zum See. '

'The apartment was clean, spacious and had all the amenities we needed for a short stay in Varenna. It is located very close to the local bars and restaurants and a 15 minute walk from the train station. The self check-in process was simple, although the instructions we were sent had the wrong box described for our apartment, but it was self explanatory once we got there as the boxes are all lettered. 'It was a great stay. The apartment was comfortable with the 5 of us. Pool was clean throughout the week. The village Argegno is a steep walk down the road, but very beautiful with great restaurants. I’d be happy to come back. '

'Be aware the parking for this location is public parking and may not be available. If you are walking, the center of town is approximately a 20 minute walk and you share the road with vehicles. There is a walking lane, but at times there are drivers who drive close to pedestrians as well as areas where the walking lane ends. There are 2 roads to drive in and out of the area, I'd recommend inquiring about the route that is wider. The apartment had everything we might require and we were provided...

'Beautiful spot, but difficult to access without a rental car. We were travelling on foot/train/bus and we had to rely solely on the 2 or 3 taxis in the township. The walk was ok downhill, but very arduous going back (We're in our 70's). We chose Varenna as it much more affordable than Ballagio, and the views are simply breathtaking. With a car, this would have been perfect, but we also found that the locals were very accommodating and actually took us home in their own vehicles a few...

It was advertised as having AC, but only had one weak portable unit that couldn’t cool the home below 27C (80F), making it unsafe for our newborn who was overheating and crying nonstop. 'Very happy with Icon. Entrance and access were convenient and easy, location very good, with bus stops within a 2-3 minute walk, the Lido/Cassarate area only 12-15 minute walk, and downtown only a 20-minute or so walk. The building was modern, and accommodation was very nice. Murphy bed very comfy, good kitchen and a very good bathroom with a rain showerhead. Nothing but nice things to say...we really loved it! '

'Wij hebben enorm genoten van onze vakantie in Escale Incanto! Het uitzicht is fenomenaal, het appartement is van alle gemakken voorzien, en de omgeving met al die idyllische dorpjes is wonderschoon. Ook voor onze kinderen (15 en 10 jaar) was er veel leuks te beleven; suppen, kanoën, bootje huren en natuurlijk het strandje zo dichtbij….! De gastvrouw, Claudine, is uiterst hartelijk en behulpzaam. Wij komen graag een keertje terug naar dit paradijsje!'

"A Wonderful Stay on Elba Island We had a truly lovely stay on Elba Island. The accommodation was perfectly located—everything was within walking distance, including a stunning beach in the lower part of the area, where we spent many relaxing hours. The atmosphere overall was incredibly pleasant and welcoming. We also really enjoyed the breakfast—it was delicious and served with a warm smile. There were some great little restaurants just around the corner, making evenings easy and enjoyable. All in all, a fantastic experience. We would definitely come back!"
