« Fantastic winter break. Fire for the parents whilst drinking wine and doing a jigsaw and the kids watched some Netflix or did drawing, all between some nice walks and adventures out and about. Lovely garden, if a bit cold and wet to truely enjoy. Forrest also looks like a nice place to bring a mountain bike (when less wet or cold). Wish I had the skills to enjoy the resident piano.Hosts provided excellent communication and a lovely well appointed house. »

Diana provided all necessary information and then some leading up to our stay.The house and property were better than described.There was such a calm feel as soon as we arrived. « Arriving at the Bootmaker’s Cottage, circa 1861 you are immediately greeted by a mid-Victorian cottage with its dollhouse like appearance with gingerbread features such as the white picket fence and fretwork.
