5. Shawnee Wine Trail Farm Stay

Makanda

« High quality room, with farm privacy and atmosphere. We would recommend it and stay there again. Only one thing: The ladder to the loft bedroom is quite steep. My wife struggled a bit with it. But then, she is in her late 60's. Nevertheless, a good place that we will recommend. A/C worked well, and was needed. Room very clean. We hardly saw staff, which was fine, as we enjoyed our privacy. »

8. Contemporary Glamping with Native American Appeal!

Anna

« Very clean, quiet, well stocked and ready for your next stop to R&R. Large deck to relax on with field for your furry friends to explore a bit. Wildlife is able to be seen- early mornings are the best. Bird watching is also great here! Go hit the shops around town, hike in the many places to visit and come back to fire the grill up and relax in the hot tub. Would highly recommend this for a touch of nature not too far from towns reach. »

Nicholas M.

Une maison blanche d’un seul étage, dotée d’un porche, d’un petit drapeau américain et d’un espace extérieur aménagé avec des sièges.

9. Cabine de Charme Surplombant le Lac de 5 Acre

Dongola

« This was our second time staying here and we stayed for a full week. Fully enjoyed the time away from home. I did a lot of fishing and my wife did some crafting. Enjoyed a fire down by the lake with roasted hotdogs and s'mores. Grilled for dinner a couple of times also. Other nights we brought pre-prepared meals. It's a great getaway out away from the cities. Be prepared to relaxed and enjoy! »

« The pond did not look like it did in the picture and it was a disgusting color and did not have a beach walk in area. There was also a bug in the refrigerator and on the floor by the refrigerator and then another bug by the garbage can and there was dog food from previous people that wasn’t picked up also thought it was ridiculous at 830 in the morning there was a mowing crew outside that was woken up to on my vacation and I took pictures of it »

20. Screened Hot Tub & Peacocks Nearby

Carbondale

« Pretty nice stay overall. Location's clean and quiet. Deer and peacocks around if you like those. Hard to get lost. Only 5 miles off from stores if you need to pick something up. Negatives: I'm short and had a hard time reaching things, so I had to buy a stool (that's a me problem, I realize). The wi-fi never worked so I had to rely on mobile data (TV streamed through satellite so that was fine). Dealt with a lot of spiders and flies. Didn't try the hot tub because two wasps were hanging around...
