'My wife, dog and I stayed in the Parlour cottage at the end of August 2024. Please take note that they prefer cash or bankers transfer, Hotels.com does not take the money. It is so relaxing and quite, this is down to the hands off way of the owners, Martin & Kate. We arrived and found a wonderful welcome pack waiting of Bread, milk, eggs and biscuits. 'The property, the location and amenities were all perfect. Comfortable beds, plenty of space for a family of 4. Cosy and warm and log fire a nice addition as the heating is on a timer for when the temp does drop. 'Ideal starting point to explore the stunning surrounding area. We enjoyed the views from the house and the company of our animal neighbours, the alpacas and horses. We liked the high ceilings in the house and the cosy interior style. Everything in the house was correct as listed. We wouldn't have minded staying for a much longer time!'

'We enjoyed staying at this cottage and it made a great base for exploring the southern coast of Cardigan Bay, which has some fabulous stretches of the coastal path. However, the cottage was really cold when when arrived mainly because the owner insists on turning the radiators to frost setting and then locking them. The heating instructions left in the cottage folder are really out of date and relate to a heating system that is no longer there (night storage heaters that the instructions say...
