'The housekeeping staff did an amazing job. Immaculate. Dated property that has some cosmetic updates, but infrastructure still has issues. Hard work to get hot water. Lacking blackout curtains for those light sleepers. Location is amazing...the beach outside the rooms saves this place. Fire alarms went off in the night...twice. Couldnt be comped because we purchased third party through expedia.'

'Cons (not very many). Finding the main entrance on arrival is a challenge, especially if you are not familiar with the area. You have to turn a block before what the GPS says. It is on a side street. The shower pressure was low, but what a beautiful shower! The adjoining room door on our side kept slamming all hours of the day and night which we think was a wind tunnel effect between the two rooms. That was annoying, but tolerable. On our last night at about 1:30 in the morning, there was a fire...

'Staff is friendly, very family oriented, my children enjoyed it, currently the property is being renovated, but it wasn’t in our way or hindered our stay at the time. Love the access to the beach, drinks were good but a bit on the higher price,We did bring a cooler, ice was available and no issues about it from staff. Overall very relaxed, rooms were clean, beds were comfy.'

'Our room was nice and big for the family with daily housekeeping service. However, we did not get our welcome drink upon check-in and were under the impression we would have complimentary beach umbrella/chairs which was not the case. The pool bar food was underwhelming and we decided to go to other nearby restaurants since the Shor onsite restaurant was overpriced. We have had better Hyatt Regency stays in other parts of the U.S. but for a busy spring break season in Florida, it was...

'If I had an issue it would have been the internet went down twice, but we will be going back next year, great view, great staff, pool was nice. '

'Everything was great but we were put on the 9th floor and not on the pool side not only was a concrete wall on our balcony and obstructed our view but but when you look down it was a view of view of roofs I was no happy I recommend getting pool side below the 9th floor which is what I booked on this site but did not get very disappointed !!'

'Literally right on the beach. Walked out my door and in 15 seconds was sitting in a beach chair at the edge of the sea wall with a white sand beach before me watching pelicans dive bomb into the Gulf. Room was clean but not fancy. Parking was only issue, very narrow and limited spaces. However for the price and the location (hello, the beach) you can’t beat it! I will be coming back here next time I come to the beach on the Gulf.'
