« My wife, dog and I stayed in the Parlour cottage at the end of August 2024. Please take note that they prefer cash or bankers transfer, Hotels.com does not take the money. It is so relaxing and quite, this is down to the hands off way of the owners, Martin & Kate. We arrived and found a wonderful welcome pack waiting of Bread, milk, eggs and biscuits. « We had a fantastic week at Barafundle Cottage. The cottage was immaculate and we had everything we needed. We loved the welcome packs that were left for us especially the dogs’ one. « This was such a great find! Easy check in, and the owner Debra was easy to contact. This cottage had everything that you could possibly need very well equipped, microwave, toaster, slow cooker! Plus the welcome tray was amazing lots of cakes & biscuits plus tea & coffee.The cottage was spotless throughout!All cleaning items too! It was very quiet & private and you felt totally relaxed . « We had an excellent stay at the Cart House Cottage. It’s very clean and has all the amenities. We had a nice welcome with wine and chocolate, a friendly dog and lamas. The location is perfect to explore the Pembrokshire Coastal Trail. Technically, there is an ocean view but unfortunately the large shed blocks most of it. The information about to help us explore the region was thorough and much appreciated. We recommend the Cart House. »

« We had a wonderful time. Cwmllan feels back in time in the best way. Some reviewers seemed critical of the water pressure from the spring-fed water system but this didn't bother us much at all. It's a place to go slower, not to be rushing around! Lovely neighbours and beautiful surroundings. Wonderful choice of walks and a good old-school DVD collection for cosy rainy nights in.
