'Very clean and well kept.'

'This affordable hotel is about 20 mins drive from downtown Charleston. Staff is helpful and nice. We booked for 5 persons, but we had to make the sofabed ourselves. Also there were only towels provided for 4. When we asked, it was no problem and got them. Breakfast is good, but the line for waffles was long and is at the start of the buffet. Maybe move the waffle station to the end and get an extra waffle iron would help a lot. '

'Would have thought extra towels, linens, pillows and blankets were in room for the pull out couch and number of people staying. Was disappointed that all we had was more than half roll of toilet paper and a full roll. Staff were exceptionally friendly and informative about our stay , breakfast and pool, etc.'

'I am really trying to look for a positive, but I also want to be honest. The hotel is not clean or maintained but worse than that...the staff does not care. I can understand that you might be short staffed when it comes to housekeepers but there is no excuse that there are no wash clothes or hand towels at 11:00 am, especially when there are two capable front desk workers doing basically nothing...well they were chatting with another worker on end. Lots of no work happening! Could not quietly...

'We had rented 2 rooms. The first room everything seemed to work okay. But the 2nd room the refrigerator did not work at all. They had a small one in the room that worked okay. It also had an indoor pool that was not available for use at all. Not sure why the pool was not available. My great grandchildren were a little disappointed with no pool. We were not at the hotel except mainly for sleeping, we had many activities planned for the few days we were in Charleston. The air conditioning...

'I had a 12:30 am arrival time so my husband and I decided to stay in a hotel instead of driving an hour back home. The shuttle bus was prompt and the driver very friendly. When we arrived, as I was walking through the lobby, I could tell this hotel's management took alot of pride in making sure your stay was an excellent experience. Our room had a wet bar and sitting area and king sized bed. Bathroom had a walking shower. All the furnishings were all updated and we really felt indulged in this...

'This is the 2nd SpringHill Suites we stay at in 1 week and it did not disappoint! Immediately when we entered the hotel- you can tell they take pride and care of the hotel! Smells amazing when you walk in the hotel. Room (223) was spotless, extremely clean, room was nice and cool when we walked in, crispy linen, spacious room, spotless sofa, frig, micro. Bathroom was super clean and spotless- the shower was perfect! We didn't have the detachable shower heads but it was still great! Halls...

'The rooms were clean and spacious. Loved the kitchen. If you need a cook top and pans all you have to do is ask the front desk. Fridge was a little smaller than pictured but still big enough. Breakfast was good. Every morning had a slight change in the menu which we enjoyed.'
