'Excellent view of Mt. Fuji. The owner is very nice, speaks good English, picked us up from the station for free, and gave us wonderful recommendations around the area, also responsive to texts. They also upgraded our room to a 1 whole house to ourselves, very clean and fully furnished. If you want a quieter and relaxing area with a great view of Mt Fuji, this is the one!'

'I never saw an image of the exterior of the building in the advertisement on Expedia. I never read that access to the upper floor was via a steep staircase which made carrying two suitcases to one’s room difficult. The place appears to be managed by the Wat Hotel next door but without access to the Wat’s facilities. The walls between the rooms were such that one could plainly hear conversations next door. The room was fine but the experience frankly disappointing.'

'This was my favorite accommodation in Japan. It was very cozy and made me feel home. We had the Sennari room. There were 4 beds in two rooms but we only used two. There was a microwave, fridge, kitchen sink with dishes/soap, washer/dryer, kitchen table, sofa. It was two levels with bedrooms upstairs. We never saw our host. It was self check in with a code.
