We greatly enjoyed our stay in this historic home and appreciated being able to have our senior hound along. The excellent view of the lighthouse is a bonus! Only complaints are having to bring/buy supplies (sponge, dishwasher and laundry detergent) and there were a number of windows that would benefit from blackout shades or any shade at all given the 100 degree temps and intense setting sun. The attic master took a very long time to cool down on arrival day. Otherwise we loved it and would stay again (assuming we get our 600 deposit back ;) Also, pro tip, bring a bunch of cash as many vendors charge you the 3% CC fee or donât take cards at all. Amarin had the best almond croissants Iâve had in years - go early! We love Chinco/Assateague!
This house has a lot of space for a family set back from the road with a large lawn in front. The kitchen is well stocked and updated. The location is directly across from the bay (lighthouse across) and easy to drive or bike to the main boulevard (Maddox). This is our second summer staying in this house and we'll probably stay again in the future. The rental company was also great with communication and made check in very smooth.
