Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our third year in a row of renting this place for Memorial Day weekend. Love the location for lighthouse watching and pony spotting. Also loved crabbing off the deck. Weather didn't cooperate this year but even a bad weekend on Chincoteague is a great time.

great option for a quiet place with great views.

We enjoy staying in the Light House Estate area. This property was well equipped with all kitchen/cooking items needed. Bring cleaning supplies as the floors, walls and cabinets were in need of scrub down. Overall would stay here again. The community pool is a great option and access to your own dock is a plus with views of the lighthouse.

Very clean

The townhome was very clean when we arrived. It is a very quiet property and having dock access was great for crabbing with the kids or launching a kayak. Down the road from the park and bike rentals. The best part is the pool for the family to enjoy! We already booked another stay here in August.

Overall good stay

The location is great. It had great amenities including a pool shared among the apartments, full kitchen, 2.5 baths, washer and dryer. However, towels, toilet paper, soap, and paper towels are not provided. There were maybe two kitchen towels and two dish rags. The cleanliness was ok, some of the kitchen utensils I had to wash before I used them. Overall good stay.

Blue Diamond - June 2024

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The upstairs AC needs a fix - it is VERY hot upstairs compared to downstairs. No lights worked in the living room. I am happy to change bulbs but no spares were anywhere to be found. Also, a bin for ice is needed in the freezer. Lastly, the woman who kept asking where we are staying and "guarding" the pool got to be very annoying. Perhaps dedicated pool tags per unit would help.

A New Yearly Tradition

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved everything about this place. Clean, spacious enough for us, inviting. The pool was great and the dock to try our hand at crabbing was fun too. It was a great view of the lighthouse and a great location near enough to everything but just far enough away. Will be back!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Blue Diamond was a spacious nice condo with a community pool. Loved the layout and size of the place. The only problem was the beds. All of the mattresses were very hard and uncomfortable and made getting a good nights sleep hard. Other than that it was a great affordable place!

Nice location, kids loved the pool

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family has been vacationing on the island for 8 years and we have stayed in a couple different rentals, this property description and pictures were spot on; great location and views from the pool. Our only minor complaints were the upstairs was hot, we stayed here in August but even the evening/nights were still hot in the upstairs. And, the kitchen cupboards where the dishes and utensils are kept were very musty/moldy smelling, which after a week of us opening and shutting them made the downstairs smell. Not sure if that is from people putting dishes away wet, we didn’t actually see mold but the smell was very strong. Other then that, in general the rental was clean.

Decent

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The rental experience was fine. The house was clean enough but not spotless. The mattresses were all uncomfortable. The stove burners kept coming off. And there was a large hump in the floor from the dining room to kitchen that we were all tripping over constantly. Overall it was a decent place for a good price. Excellent wifi! And we will likely rent again.

Good price, nice place with lots of space

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The place was as advertised and a very good for the price we paid. The bathrooms and kitchen were very clean, the carpet looks very used but it's probably hard to keep a light colored carpet clean. The location was nice and quiet, a bike ride from the center, the pool lots of fun and all in all a great place to stay.

Comfortable

The blue diamond was an excellent choice for us. It was quiet and lots of wildlife in the marsh. Wish there would have been chairs at the dock area. Having some health issues this was an obstacle. Pool was easy to access.
