'Merced 88 was a great hostel. Excellent service from staff, place was clean with great showers. Has large wooden lockers in rooms that you provide your own lock for (I'd imagine you have some on your luggage. Plenty of space in dorm rooms. Conveniently located near a subway station so you can catch the Metro to the hostel from the airport (well you take the public bus to the nearest metro station first, but a lot cheaper than catching a taxi). 'As we arrived at the hostel, it appeared overbooked, so we had to leave and find ourselves another place to stay the night in Easter Weekend, which was kinda difficult. The hostel was friendly and helped us out to find another place, but the lack of synchronization on the booking was a disappointment. We still like to get in touch with Expedia..'

'Hotellet slitet, men allt funkade. Internet, aircondition, varmvatten. Det enda var att frukosten serverades efter 08.00 eller senare och att man bara fick ett bröd per gäst. Generöst med smör. Det ingick även cornflakes och mjölk. Personalen var vänlig och hjälpsam. Hotellet kändes mycket tryggt och lugnt och det låg mycket bra till mitt i Barrio Italia men på en tyst gata. En underlig sak dock var att hotellet drog hela beloppet när jag bokade. Dom ska enligt hotels inte dra några pengar på...
