« Woodgate has not changed much - just the way we like it »

« House is tired, mildew in light fittings, aircon vent and some fly screens clogged with dust and fluff, only one hot plate working normally, other 3 heating red roar, no drip plates under the hotplates, rust in oven and hotplate surround rings. Lovely fridge but overall, a very tired, small 3 bedroom house. Compared to other beachfront Woodgate accommodation, this house is not worth the money charged. »

« Nice quiet spot with a very short walk to the beach, the accommodation was neat and clean and had everything I needed. »

« A tastefully renovated house which is comfortable and full of character. Our Scottish Terrier loved the large fenced yard. Even though it rained for 2 of our 3 days, we had a relaxing, enjoyable break. Our trips to the Esplanade and beach were by car because of the weather, but we still had quite a bit of time to enjoy these wonderful spots in Woodgate. A couple of streets back is just as wonderful! »

« Fabulous tiny home perfect if yr looking for an absolute escape to read or even work remotely or just chill. In the middle of nature with beautiful bird life and a pond and just nature. Very cosy with all you need to escape. Take a book and some wine and relax. »

« This is such a lovely, peaceful place to stay just a moments walk from the beautiful beach across the road. Sunrise and sunset are stunning on the beach with your coffee. The house is spotlessly clean and well equipped. It has comfortable beds and linens included. There is also a basic unit behind the main cottage with a double bed, bathroom and small kitchen area. The fenced in area behind the house would work well for children or dogs to play. There is a bakery nearby, a lovely coffee place,...

« The family had a wonderful Easter getaway spent fishing and relaxing. This house was a lovely home away from home with everything you could need. Beautiful views of the river listening to the birds from the verandah in the morning was lovely. »

« The whole family enjoyed the experience, we will definitely be booking this place again when I can get the whole family together again »

« Had a great few nights plenty of beers drank, fish caught and stories told. Would definitely recommend this little gem. »

« Fantastic,close to the beach,wonderful walks,very peaceful.Accommodation was excellent. »

« Spent a week at this place with family. It had everything we needed.The large deck out the back was the best feature. We spent alot of time on the deck entertaining and listening to the ocean. Having young ones, we enjoyed having the family room and all downstairs to ourselves. »

« Easy access to the beach but one of the two pups next door continually barked when the residents were not at home. The back yard also could use a new layer of turf being laid. Parking was great. »

« None of the A/C units in the 3 bedrooms work, the bathroom window is an old timber sash which was jammed open and during a storm water gushed in. Fan in the kitchen is filthy and a lot of maintenance needs to be done. Great position. »
