My refrigerator had mold in it and all I was told was sorry. I had to throw my food away. The food at the restaurant did not have any flavor and service was slow.

First, the check-in staff was not friendly or courteous. As a Marriott's rewards members, I was not given any offer or accommodation on room preference as provided in my profile. The staff member said the hotel is not owned by Marriott and do not follow Marriott's programs or rules. Second, the check-in staff said that no Marriott rewards points would not be allowed because I booked the reservation through Expedia rather than directly with the hotel. I did not know there was a penalty for booking a reservation through Expedia.com. Third, I was given a room on the ground floor, where there were lots of noise late at night and early morning making it difficult to sleep. I will not stay at this hotel in the future or recommend anyone to stay there.

There was a small mixup with the room when I arrived but the front desk cleared it up promptly. Expedia lists these rooms as being soundproof but that wasn’t the case. I could hear everything, including arguments, coming from the surrounding rooms and just outside the door, in the hallway. Also I woke up and there was a bug that looked a lot like a bed bug on the carpet just at the foot of the bed. I took pictures and showed the front staff. They said they would have pest control come out the next day and someone would call me. I have not received a call as of yet, and this was two days ago.

Don't pay for the breakfast.
Liked the hotel and the location. Beds were definitely comfortable. We have a daughter at college in the area. So we have have stayed at few places in the area. Breakfast is one of the options that is important to me. Breakfast was a disappointment. Coffee was cold. They need a better system for their coffee. Eggs were cold. We have pay extra for breakfast as we love a great breakfast. The price was for the hotel was not reflected by what we were paying. Will not be back.

The breakfast buffet was more then disappointing. It is a breakfast that other hotels include with your stay. Powdered eggs, frozen pancakes, bacon, and etc. The other hotels include waffles, yogurt, bananas, and a few other breakfast items along with the other items listed above for NO additional charge. I was SHOCKED! There's no microwave in the rooms. However, the customer service, rooms, cleanliness, and area was very very nice.

Fine, not great!
My stay here was fine not great. I did have a few issues with my first room. My toilet stopped working in the middle of the night. After trying to call the front desk in the morning, the “at your service” button told me the # was not a working #! I tried dialing zero, I ended up in someone’s voicemail! No live person to communicate with! I was left with the only option to go down to the front desk, after I used the RR’s on the 1st floor, I then spoke with the front desk. I explained the above issues. I told the front desk I was getting ready to attend my niece’s funeral and would stop by the front desk on my way out. A little after 9:00 am, I let the same person know I was leaving and would be gone all day. 12 hours later, I came back to my room with the toilet still not working. Your front desk FAILED to let anyone know about the above issues! The front office manager, Cora was the unfortunate one to deal with me and my demand for a new room. She did get me a new room and was sweet enough to help me pack my things and move me to the new room. The cleanliness of the bathroom in the 2nd room was not at all acceptable. There was hair, not mine on the shower walls and if that wasn’t bad enough, there was hair on the ceiling near the bathroom door! I thought about taking a picture, but I didn’t. The pillows were awful and bed was okay, not great! I don’t know if I would stay here again.

The front staff was friendly. The cleanliness of the room was disappointing. The blanket had what appeared to be mildew stains and the door and bathroom wall were dirty. My room was by the electrical room and the ice machine so I heard all the traffic from other occupants. I stayed here years ago and my stay then was excellent. I’m not sure what happened over the years.

The hotel was clean, very friendly staff and convenient location. Only thing I did not like was that my room had a gapping at the bottom of the door. Noticed it when my wife pointed it out. I did a walkdown of my hall and noticed certain rooms had the issue, and some doors were completely sealed. No clue why that is, which is why I gave that aspect 4 stars flr the facility. Overall, great bar and restuarant, and gym and pool were decent.
