The outdoor areas of this home are absolutely wonderful. The property has a very large dining table and giant living room which were perfect for our large group. The bedrooms and bathrooms are a little dated but that wasn't important to us. The river, pool, hot tub, playground, and disc golf provided hours of outdoor fun.

Great house for our large family of 26! Also using our daughter’s home nearby. So much to do in the game room with 2 pool tables in the house along with other games enjoyed by ALL ages. Lake Blue Ridge Marina was nearby where tubing was thoroughly enjoyed. Hiking and tubing in the creek was exciting. Shopping in Blue Ridge was a fun outing. S’mores near the creek was nice but having the lights work on the pergola area would have made it perfect. The kitchen needs a small hand mixer, a few more large casserole dishes to serve a large group, a potato peeler, and a pairing knife (we donated 1). The master bathroom sink is slow to drain. Labeling the many light switches would have been very helpful. Overall an excellent home to stay in.

Beautiful Retreat!

Wonderful setting located in a quiet area. Wildlife all around. We loved the location and what the property offered. The house is a little tired and could use some upgrades. I discussed this with the property management before leaving and I feel like they listened.

Company Manager's Retreat

I booked this for my regional manager team of 9 adults instead of our usual Hampton in Blue Ridge. The cabin was well maintained and clean. It's a beautiful piece of property with Stanley Creek running through it. There are some small fish in it at this location but you want to fish the main Toccoa for better trout.There was plenty to do for the guys . The game room, 2 pool tables and corn hole boards gave them plenty of choices to unwind and have fun.We had 9 total people and only 6 rooms with 11 beds total and some were raised bunks. This was the only issue because a couple of our guests were over 6'4 and the bunks were too small. Some of us were a little older and the upper bunks were harder to get in. The bunks were well suited for kids especially with the harder mattresses. We made it work with an air mattress and the couch.Overall we would stay here again. Southern comfort Cabin rentals and this host are awesome.

Perfect Family Get-Away

Came up from Atlanta and Florida for Chistmas and found ourselves in a little slice of paradise. There was ample room for all of us and the kitchen lent itself perfectly to a Christmas dinner. Between the game room, hot tub, and living room, we had plenty to do.

We had a great time at Stanley Creek Lodge! Lots if entertainment for kids from 2yrs-12yrs Never heard “I’m bored” house was great; creek was a big hit; pool was great! Only small complaint was there was 13 of us for 6 nights—dish soap ran out in 3 had to buy more—seems a little petty to not provide enough for the booked stay

There were 16 of us and we all enjoyed the cabin very much. It was so peaceful and beautiful. The kids and adults really enjoyed seeing all the deer come up in the yard. There was plenty of room for everyone in our group and everyone was comfortable. We all played games and really enjoyed ourselves. Thank you so much for an incredible experience.

Five great days in June

Beautiful interior square footage with great open kitchen / dining area. The wraparound porch and pool were delightful. The Wi-Fi was very spotty; could / should be improved upon. The guest house had a strange aroma; rough construction.. we didn’t use. A small issue overall, but beanbags for the cornhole set were missing , as was the microphone for the karaoke machine. I reached out via text ; no response. The exterior is a bit tired and even though the property is on four acres, there is immediate property owner across creek that mowed for extended periods of time two if the four afternoons we were there. Large, noisy equipment. Obviously, summer maintenance has to be done. There were also nearby barking dogs- no fault of property owner/ manager. The kitchen was very functional, but the gas stove barely so; it should be replaced. The bedrooms, bathrooms were fabulous and the game rooms, living area truly user friendly and relaxing. We enjoyed our time very much.

Awesome Creek!

We all enjoyed the creek, especially looking for mudskippers and crawfish. The pool was beautiful. The house is spacious. The playroom was enjoyed by all. Great hiking nearby. Nice town nearby.

Family Christmas getaway

We celebrated our family Christmas here in this beautiful cabin next to the creek. It was very spacious and comfy. The outdoors is beautiful and so well kept. Very clean and organized home. We enjoyed it very much and plan to use this home again in the future for other occasions. 5+Stars

Loved the property and accomodations! There were two things that I thought you would want to be aware of for your next visitors; the internet never really worked which was a bummer and the fire wood was very green and was very hard to burn. Other than that we loved the place.

Great Family Memories Built Here

First shout-out goes to the cleaning crew that takes care of this very large house. For me, a clean house is mandatory for a comfortable stay. That’s not a small feat for a house this size. Well done! The size of the house and the way it’s laid out to accommodate all ages makes this property a real gem. There was something for everyone - you hear the theme in all the reviews – all 14 of us could be in the living room or kitchen/dining area together without feeling cramped at all. We did a lot of cooking and all the dishes and cookware we needed was provided. That was nice. The outdoor area is also great. It would be fun to come during warmer months and enjoy the pool. But the firepit and outdoor cooking area were a plus. The children – ages 2 to 13 – wanted to stay at the house and play rather than going on excursions because there was so much for them to do. Loved that! My suggestion to the property management group is to step up the game on the towels and blankets. There weren’t enough towels for everyone to have one. But they did respond quickly and brought more when we notified them of the shortfall. It was very cold when we were there and extra blankets were not available and seems like they should have been. But they brought those when we asked as well. Our family made lots of good memories in our time at the Stanley Lodge. I recommend it!

The pool was the best part!

We wanted to have a quick family getaway. The house was large and spacious. The pool was phenomenal. I was shocked to see the refrigerator shelves were broken and the bed linens were not cleaned. The bed spreads smelled and I just figured it was the detergent they used to clean them. Over all the house was gods if you have kids or are an active adult. There is a basketball goal, game room and 2 pool tables. I’d rate my stay a B in comparison to our other travels. My family said they would return for the pool but everything else was just ok. I’d recommend if you have a large family.

Heaven on Earth

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful property. The setting on the creek was spectacular. We saw deer every morning on the lawn. The pool was so relaxing and enjoyed by all. Night swims under the stars were amazing. The property itself is very private and easily accessible. Sitting on the deck and looking out at the pool and the creek was so relaxing. We went on a hike to a beautiful waterfall. The drive to the trailhead was only about 5 minutes away. The game room was great. The kids loved having their own place to chill and it kept them entertained for hours on end. Each bedroom had its own theme. The Western room upstairs had a lovely view of the creek. The downstairs master had a walkout deck that was literally about 10 steps from the creek. The living room was massive and could easily accommodate large gatherings. The house was immaculate and had everything anyone would need for an extended stay. There was a cute guest house that is decorated as a farm house. The town of Blue Ridge was just a short drive away and we enjoyed shopping and dining there. Overall this was a fantastic stay and we will definitely be booking this place again.
