Blokhutten in Centrale Staten

'It was the perfect place for us to be. The view was excellent at sunrise. A few longhorn cattle visited us late one evening. We had our privacy from other guests, too. The cabin was furnished with everything we needed to be comfortable. Very good use of every space! Would highly recommend a stay, especially if you plan to attend the musical “Texas” which is performed down in Palo Duro Canyon in the summer months. Outstanding performance and extra special as the play is celebrating its 60th year...

'The Bank had a great front porch with rocking chairs and a fabulous view of the mountains and the sunset. The bed was comfortable, but the room lacked a coffee maker, tissues, and a chair to sit in, though there was a small stool covered in towels. Someone left the last 2 sections of the toilet paper on the roll instead of changing it out for a new one, and the sink still had clumpy soap residue from previous renter. The shower also had mold in it, so I was a bit dissappointed in the amenities...

'The cabin was a peaceful place to unwind and clear your thoughts. I really enjoyed the pond. deer and Callie the cat. I will come back sometime.'

'Nice house. The deck was lovely to sit on. Property felt very secluded. We are walkers and felt thou near town not a neighborhood we would walk in to get there. Very close drive to the state parks we hiked in.'

'Kitchen had everything we needed, atmosphere & area was perfect for 4 ladies to spend time together. Host/owner very clear with directions & instructions. We left a Hen & Chickens plant for appreciation! Wish we could have enjoyed hot tub, but weather was just too chilly for us! Maybe next time!! '
